This facility is right on a very busy main road and is very noisy, even with the windows closed. Security and safety is also questionable given proximity to a thoroughfare and old key locks. Inside the room is very dated.

We stayed at Knotty Pine at the end of August when moving our recent HS grad to college in Bennington. The motel was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, and we overall really enjoyed our stay. This place has a nostalgic charm to it while still providing modern conveniences like in-room coffee makers and cable TV. We wish we could have tried out the pool (weather did not allow) as it was beautiful and clean. Staff was friendly, local food and other options are nicely provided in a reference binder, and just in general the place has wonderful vibes. Close (walking distance) from several local and chain restaurants. 5 minute drive to Bennington College and the Washington Monument. Despite this being a pet friendly motel and several dogs staying there while we were there, it was generally quiet and we barely heard our neighbors or their fur children at all. So happy we found this place!

Clean, very quiet, more than spacious enough. Couldn't keep cat from getting under the bed (!) but it was easy to get him out. We stay there routinely and have never been disappointed.

Nice to stay at a place where the owners took pride in their business. Place was older yet clean and places to sit and eat a meal comfortably. Staff (owners) were friendly polite and informative. This is making me prefer small private owned places over the big chains, they seem to care more on the impression they make. I will see definitely stay again

Was a little hesitant to book a non-brand motel, but the experience was entirely satisfactory. The person at reception was friendly and offered some good local tips about places to see. The room was immaculate. A cold breakfast, which was included, had a number of options. The motel is a short walk from several informal dining locations.

This is a great place to spend the night on a budget! For a “motel” it has a more modern, updated feel. The check-in process was very smooth and the office has a nice little seated area with some snacks you can take (things like milk and cereal, juice, fruits, granola bars etc.). The room had everything you need (mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, ironing board, alarm clock, and even a flatscreen TV with cable!) and everything was immaculately clean. The bathroom towels in particular were very soft and fresh smelling. The bed was plush and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay here especially if you’re looking to save some cash.

The room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very welcoming. There was some confusion about whether breakfast was or was not included. (It was not.) I would stay here again. We visited on a very cold night and the room was toasty.

Always spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, very reasonably priced and convenient to everything interesting in the Bennington area. Great staff, family owned and I'd never stay in one of the local big chains again. I've stayed many times and have never had a bad experience.

Great place for what they're selling. We ended up in a one bedroom suite which had a ton of space! Lobby breakfast area was clean and just what we needed to start our day. Staff was super friendly. Grounds were very well kept. Will stay again if we're in the area.
