Holiday Inn Bensalem-Philadelphia Area

Very nice hotel..the staff was very sweet and the hotel room was absolutely beautiful loved the house robes for myself and husband..fancy #yafancyhuh

Four days into a week stay and it just keeps getting worse. Shower ran out of hot water first day here. Then seems anyone's guess when the hot water will work - on and off each day. Advertised they had room service, restaurant and bar on site. But when we checked in, was told no room service, bar only opened Friday and Saturday nights and not sure about an actual restaurant at all. They do have free breakfast - but it's not very good at all, typical liquid eggs, hash brown patties and toast/cereal options. Advertise a laundry on site, but dryer ate my money and front desk was no help. Actually told me one doesn't work - ah, no kidding - I would have to call the number on the machine for any help as the hotel doesn't own the machines. There's no signage, no phone number to call. Least the worker should have done was post out of order on the machine they know doesn't work. Tried to use the gym to work out first morning here...tread mill turned on and kept getting faster and faster (even though display didn't show faster speed)...I couldn't turn it down, had to jump off. Weight equipment was ok. Overnight desk employee is nice to deal with; daytime ones not so much. Guess we're taking time away from the phones they are staring at. Place is every clean, cleaning staff way more friendly than desk workers. Unfortunately, so much spray cleaner is used, it takes your breath away in the common areas especially around the elevators.

NO Hospitality at all! Lacking in customer service, as well as professionalism. Front desk employees are extremely rude and are not fully equipped in training. Batteries on my room door was not working, so my door was either open all day or I could not access it all night. I had a flight in the morning, and I had to miss my trip because my personal items was locked in the room. The manager did not have a master key, nor did she have a solution to accommodate this hazarded situation. I asked for a refund because, I could not sleep in my room due to the issues they were experiencing, they refused. My business partner is currently in communication with corporate.

I stayed here for one night to see Matt Rife at Parx ******. The hotel was OK, but not the 5-star experience described in other reviews. Pros: Lots of on-site parking. Spacious and clean-enough rooms (not spotless, but not gross). There is an Applebee’s. Cons: The hotel generally felt skeevy. My room wreaked of cigarettes. I heard rowdy noises from nearby rooms and smelled **** in the hallway. Several men appeared to return with escorts. Also, the area is not set up for walking between the hotel and the ******, which seems like the entire point of staying here. Most of the property is fenced off, and there are no sidewalks. You end up walking along the curb and crossing a busy intersection at the Parx parking lot entrance, which is dangerous at night. Parx and the hotel should either improve pedestrian access or offer a shuttle service.

Short trip to see friends and family and to catch a baseball game. Every time I go to Philly for the last 5 years I have stayed at this place and I’ve had an excellent experience. The night clerk was very nice at check in and wished me a great stay. Bonus was the ****** was next door. Lol.

My hubs and I were up for The Wallflowers concert at Park ****** on 8/5 from Baltimore. Never been to Bensalem, but this was closest to our concert. From front desk to pool guy (who also worked an elevator issue always with a smile) EVERYONE was warm, helpful, and professional. Check in was easy; the woman (manager?) at front desk was exceptional in greeting us and check in. The Inn itself is spotless, the rooms beautifully decorated, and exceptional water pressure on 4th floor! The breakfast area was well stocked, and I would almost say it was a full breakfast buffet, which was kept clean and well stocked by a very nice man. The common lounging areas had flat screens on.for viewing. The Inn in a nutshell, was very very well managed IMO; we are seasoned travelers both domestic and international. KUDOS and thank you. P.S. The icy cold water with lemon infusion in the entry area was brilliant!

A jewel nestled in the heart of Bensalem, PA. I was worried at first because the area has such substandard hotels. To my surprise this hotel should be 4 stars. Total renovation gorgeous rooms and beautiful robes which I have not seen since The Beverly Hilton. Wait it gets better ….the Olympic size swimming pool is inviting and quite beautiful…with piush lounge chairs and sofas. The bed was a little uncomfortable but they can tweak that. I will be back. It is also right at the Parx ******
