Nice lodge with a feeling of home, stuff is very friendly and helpful. It’s not in a noisy area, quiet and feels like home. I liked it. Please make sure to treat bugs. There are spiders and those huge scary roaches. The entrance is very concealed. Could be dangerous to linger about trying to find the entrance especially in the night. Durban is a dangerous city.

The rooms were big, clean and spacious. The bathroom had shower and bath tub, very nice. Walking distance to the shops, so very convenient. It has a beautiful set up where you can take pictures, very nice. Staff was extremely helpful and warm. Definitely worth the money.

We had a good time at Madeline Grove Bed & Breakfast, very nice and clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. It's only a short and safe walk to Florida Road where you have so many options with restaurants and Take-aways. The only thing that was a bit tricky was the shower: either very hot or very cold, nothing in between. But not much of a problem.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It was the one of the best welcomes I have ever received from a guesthouse. The room was spacious and very clean, fresh towels, coffee and tea daily. The walls between rooms are very thin and you can hear every sound which made sleeping a bit difficult. But overall it was a great stay.

Madeline its situated in a good place and it looks very nice outside but they still using old things like Tv, Fridges, Cupboard and they don't keep kitchen cloth, plates and cutlery etc., you have to always got and ask and having a kitchen cloth is very important especially if you have kids, but big up to Nompumelelo and the ladies in the kitchen for being the best, you really know customer service, I had a great time rather than that management need to fix inside or upgrade to the level of the money that is paid

Excellent service from all the staff and the admin personnel (Nompumelelo) and her assistant they are very professional we had a great time. when we arrived on our first day our room were well prepared very clean, neat and smelling good. what we liked the most is the breakfast cooked with love the ladies who were preparing the breakfast were always punctual, wearing their uniform and good sense of humor. My children enjoyed playing in the pool they loved they rooms. Some of the days it was raining but it didn't stop us to enjoy our vacation we went out to do the indoor activities Pavilion shopping center.
