Abbiamo deciso di passare il capodanno a Bergamo quasi all'ultimo quindi non abbiamo avuto molta scelta sul posto dove soggiornare. Però devo dire che siamo state fortunate perché il posto è davvero carino, le stanze ampie e con tutto il necessario compreso un frigo, phon, tv ecc ecc. A disposizione c'è anche una zona caffé dove potersi gustare, al mattino, un caffé con cialde oppure un nescafé. Oltre a questo potete anche trovare un bollitore, piatti, tazze, tazzine, posate e tutto ciò che può servirvi per gustarvi una colazione al volo prima di uscire. La disponibilità del gestore è completa, gentilissimo e molto carino per cercare di venire incontro alle esigenze del cliente. E' comodo sia per la stazione, sia per raggiungere la funicolare, il centro città e tutte le attrazioni della città.

We spent 6 days using Bergamo as our base to visit the lakes and surrounding area. We pick Quarenghi for its location close to the main routes into and out of the city. It was a great choice! The apartment was decent size and there are coffee making facilities in the shared area. Whilst the outside road is a little noisy at times, the apartment was quiet as there are only approx 3/4 others. Parking was great once I got used to how tight it was… but large enough for most cars. Would recommend as a base as it’s close to restaurants and bars in lower Bergamo and easy enough to get to citte alta if that’s what you want too.
