柏林美利亞酒店(Melia Berlin)

Wir waren zum zweitenmal im Melia Berlin. Die Hotelkette ist sehr gut, vor allem das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist prima, wenn man die Museen, Unter den Linden etc besuchen möchte. Gleich neben S- und UBahn Friedrichstrasse. Diesmal war nur das Problem, dass gleich am ersten Tag uns gesagt wurde, dass am nächsten Tag abends ab 22:00 bis 05:00 morgens kein Strom gibt. Keiner wußte genau warum und wir wurden auch nicht vor der Reise informiert, weil auch sie es ersta an dem Tag erfahren haben... Wir bemühten uns also am Sonntag vor 22:00 da zu sein, aber wir waren zu spät (wollten ja einen schönen Abend in Berlin verbringen, aber das ging nicht) und mit einem Schulterzucken wurde uns gesagt, der Aufzug ist zu. Also liefen wir in den 7. Stock hoch, hatten vorher noch gefragt, ob wir Taschenlampen bekommen.. Jetzt haben wir einen Brief bekommen, dass wenn wir mal wieder buchen, wir als wiedergutmachung in den Level hochgestuft werden....Keine Ahnung was das ist und keine Ahnung wann wir wieder dort buchen. Der Sonntag abend war etwas verdorben für uns.

"I unfortunately was not satisfied at all. After experiencing the Melia Level service in Sevilla and trusting it, I chose Melia in Berlin. However, I received a service that was far from meeting any expectations. The room was bad, and there were really basic items missing, such as a toothbrush, comb, shower cap, etc., which should be present even in a regular hotel room, let alone in a Level experience. The reception was very indifferent, and despite sending three emails before my arrival, I received no response. On the last day, I called and provided detailed information about my request; they asked me to send it via email to the reception, which I did, and still got no response. I had to make the requested transaction over the phone, luckily the person delivering my package had called me. They initially asked for 35 euros for a late check-out, which is supposed to be free in Level (according to availability). When I questioned why it was requested, the person next to me checked with someone and said, 'Oh yes, it's okay, we'll do it for free.' On the day of check-out, when I returned to the hotel at 2:00 PM, my key cards were not working. In conclusion, it was a very bad experience. I do not plan to stay at Melia hotels again."

Struttura consigliata per la vicinanza a museuminsel e attrazioni, oltre alla stazione di U e S-BAHN comodossima a tutto. Personale gentilee preparato, piccola.pecca al check in.

I am surprised by the good reviews since we had so many problems in our stay. The first day, someone entered the room in the afternoon while I was in the bathroom to leave a note with a bottle of water. After that we permanently left the do not enter sign at the door. When booking opera tickets thru the concierge, we were charged 7 euros which was okay, except that when we got back to the hotel, at first, the staff at the reception could not find the tickets. A sock that was left among the bed sheets was taken never to be found, in spite of assurances to the contrary. We did not pay for breakfast and only small bags of instant coffee are provided. When asked for more, the maid said she was ordered to leave only two bags of caffeinated coffee per day because they will go bad if more were given. Bath towels are small and only two are given per day, instead of the four that most hotels provide. Although the condition of the hotel itself is good and it's location is ideal, the lack of care and attention by the staff made it an unpleasant 7-day stay.

Un hôtel au cœur de Berlin Mitte très proche de la gare de Friedrichstrasse. Un emplacement très intéressant pour se déplacer dans Berlin. La chambre est grande et lumineuse. Lit très confortable et salle de bain fonctionnelle. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très complet en salé, beaucoup moins en sucré. Personnel accueillant au petit déjeuner. En revanche, le personnel à l’accueil n’est pas très attentif, ni poli. Aucun bonjour lorsque l’on rentre dans le hall. La chose que je n’ai pas appréciée, à mon arrivée la chambre n’était pas prête, en revanche on m’en a proposé une de disponible plus premium et plus chère ! J’ai préféré attendre 15 h et avoir celle prévue. Pourquoi demander à 2 reprises par mail l’heure d’arrivée alors que la chambre est finalement prête qu’à l’heure de 15 h. Je reviendrai néanmoins dans cet hôtel compte tenu de son emplacement très central.
