波茨坦廣場格瑞姆酒店(Grimm's Potsdamer Platz)

Das Grimm's am Potsdamer Platz ist ein äußerst hübsches Hotel mit toller Location und den geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind etwas klein, aber das weiss man bei der Buchung anhand der Größenangabe und sie sind auch sicher ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind hell, zum Teil mit Balkon und bodenlangen Fenstern. Fön, Kosmetiktücher, Duschgel vorhanden. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind sehr sauber und noch sehr gepflegt und nicht abgewohnt. Von daher empfanden wir das ganze Hotel mehr als angenehm. Die Lage des Hotels empfand ich auch sehr ruhig. Bahngleise waren in der Nähe, die man aber erst am frühen Morgen leise und gedämpft hört. Das mit uns angereiste Paar hatte gar nichts gehört. Das Parkhaus ist direkt gegenüber und von daher ist es überhaupt kein Problem, was den Fußweg anbelangt (2 Minuten) Zum Potsdamer Platz sind es 10 Gehminuten, von dort kann man auch weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig erreichen, sowie auch den Sightseeingbus mit einer Stopstelle. Sehr nettes Personal, egal ob beim Ein-/Auschecken, am Frühstück oder abends an der Bar. Das Frühstück ist zur Selbstbedienung, Sonderwünsche werden freundlich entgegen genommen und zubereitet, was man meines Erachtens nicht braucht. Selten ein so umfangreiches zubereitetetes Frühstücksbuffet in einem Stadthotel erlebt. Ich kann das Hotel nur Wärmstens weiter empfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

This may be the best reasonably priced boutique hotel in Berlin. Modernistic but warm, friendly and extremely omfortable it is located in walking distance from a lovely shopping center, the national Holocaust memorial and the Brandenburg gate. The interior design takes its inspiration from the Brothers Grimm fairytales which of course is far from politically correct. but charmingly done. Gourme breakfast. No minibars in the rooms, but then Snow White also didn't have one, did she.

Overall we enjoyed our 3 night stay here at Grimm's, all the staff were professional and polite. Our room was cute and functional, loved the balcony for fresh air. The balcony came into its own as the aircon was weak/non-existent however according to reception it was working as it should, a new eco friendly system. Not pleasant waking up in a stuffy warm room and needing to open the balcony doors to let cool air (and noise and mozzies) in. The young women who served us at our dinners were very friendly and helpful, their English was wonderful where our German was woeful. The food was fine, only comment I would make was a steak was asked to be medium rare, it came out practically blue, I couldn't finish it. Not a problem, I ate everything else on the plate and had dessert, I wasn't deprived. The location is close to parks and public transport, only a short drive to Berlin Main Station, walkable distance to the city and sites. Would we stay again? Probably not as we really didn't enjoy their air con system. We don't expect icy rooms as other nationalities do, however don't enjoy being unable to sleep because of warm rooms.

Overall, The Grimm was ok; however, the hotel DOES NOT have air conditioning. The website stated the hotel has air conditioning but it does not. We contacted the front desk and someone came to “check the system”, but it did nothing. Over the 5 nights we stayed at The Grimm, I adjusted the thermostat to both very high and very low and this made no difference in the room temperature. If you try to open the windows, it is VERY LOUD outside at all hours if the night making it impossible to sleep. The front desk claimed the “air conditioning system” for the hotel is not actually a “true air conditioning” but is rather dependent on outside temperatures. No vents or fans are used in this system. If you want air conditioning and a quiet hotel, book elsewhere. We asked for an isolation fan to move some air with in our room, but the front desk told us they did not have any

Had a recent 3 night stay here, and overall, I was impressed. I asked for a high room, which I got. The only issue I had with the room was 2 single beds, which were quite small, and I like to spread out. The room was very clean but would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities and i required an iron and ironing board, but when I asked for this the staff stated another customer was using the board and I was disappointed they only had 1 ironing board for customer use??? Besides those things I did enjoy my stay staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge breakfast was ok nothing special but sufficient. I did have an evening meal on one occasion and I have to say it was really good so I would recommend the food. Drink was reasonably priced. The hotel is situated 3 minutes walk from an underground station and the price from Berlin Brandenburg Airport was 4 euros each way this is very reasonable considering a taxi is around 60 euros each way and was not to hard to work the rail system out just remember to validate your ticket or risk a large fine. I chose this hotel and was in a great location to explore. If I was to return to Berlin, would I stay again...???? Yes definitely....

Petit hôtel fort sympathique à l’écart de l’agitation berlinoise et dans un quartier calme et tranquille. 10 minutes de marche de Potsdamer Platz. Une station de métro est a 3 minutes à pied et vous emmène partout dans le centre. Personnel très sympathique, hôtel propre et moderne. Très bien décoré. Bonne literie et salle de bain fonctionnelle (enfin on peut poser ses trousses). Excellent petit déjeuner. Les moins : un wifi très instable, et absence de parking dans l’hôtel (parking public payant à proximité)

Ubicación, atención y desayuno excelentes. La habitación muy cómoda. Muy recomendado. La temática del hotel es de los cuentos de hadas. Nos tocó el piso 5, Hanzel y Gretel. Todo muy limpio y la vista al amanecer es hermosa. Tienen motos en alquiler y servicio de metro muy cerca

El hotel es muy bonito, moderno, de diseño y con muchas comodidades. Pero aunque la atención es correcta le falta cierta calidez y para mi gusto la ubicación no es muy buena. El restaurante salva la situación porque a la noche estás muy aislado.
