卡羅琳彩雲之南酒店(Hotel Carolinenhof)

Es war eine richtige Entdeckung. Ein zentral gelegenes Hotel mit einem sehr individuell gestalteten Frühstück und einem supernetten Personal unter 80 Euro im Jahre 2023 in Berlin? Ich habe es nicht für möglich gehalten. Doch es war so. Vielen Dank, liebes Hotelteam!

Etwas älteres Hotel mit modernem Flair. Der Ausblick in den Hoteleigenen kleinen Park am Morgen ist sehr schön. Die neugestallteten Zimmer sind modern und mit viel liebe hergerichtet. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es beim Frühstück, da wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten für 3 Personen gegeben waren und uns wurde untersagt die Tische zu verrücken. Ansonsten klein aber ok.

Ein wirklich sehr nettes Hotel-Team, von der Rezeption, über die Reinigungskräfte bis zu dem Servicepersonal beim Frühstück. Das Hotel liegt auch sehr ruhig und fußläufig von der U-Bahn mit schneller Anbindung zum Bahnhof Zoo. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Die WLAN-Verbindung im Zimmer war eine Katastrophe. Das Signal ist ständig abgebrochen, sodass es kaum möglich war, mehr als eine URL hintereinander aufzurufen. Laut vieler anderer Bewertungen ist dem Hotel dieses Manko seit langem bekannt (ich habe das leider vor meiner Reservierung nicht gesehen), dennoch werden die Zimmer weiterhin als mit WLAN ausgestattet beworben. Das ist nicht in Ordnung, schon gar nicht für den Zimmerpreis. Das Zimmer insgesamt war sauber, nur in der Duschkabine habe ich bei Ankunft noch ein paar Haare an den Kacheln gefunden. Die Lage ist ruhig und recht zentral zum Kurfürstendamm gelegen. Zum Hauptbahnhof gibt es keine direkte Bahn-Verbindung, man muss einmal am Bahnhof Zoo umsteigen.

Très bon accueil, le petit déjeuner était tres bien dans un cadre verdoyant Bonne nouvelle ils louent des vélos à la journée Assez proche de 2 metro et rue calme avec chant des oiseaux

Ich bin rundum zufrieden und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ein großes Lob an die Küche. Das Frühstück war topp.

I came to Berlin to attend ITB from March 5 to 7 . I booked this hotel since it’s close to exhibition centre . The first two days was good eventhough they will not clean the room unless it’s been asked for , explanation is that for long staying guest cleaning will be done once in 3 days unless you hang the display card for room cleaning outside the door !!!! Worst explanation I have ever got in my lifetime . For your knowledge they are not reducing rates or giving free stay since I am long staying guest and how can they cut off my service for what I have paid for ? No footwear or no dental kit in the room . Breakfast is very much pathetic with one apple , a bunch of grapes , two pears , one citrus fruit for the entire guests staying in the property 🙄. Coming to the bitter experience that I have encountered : I went to hospital today and on the way out I told them I have kept my key locked inside the room ( no key card) . They told will help me unlock it when I come back . On returning from hospital I asked for a cup of coffee from the machine which costs 3 euros and the lady served it and gave me the second key to take back for opening my room and asked me to return when I come down any time . As I was taking the sip , I found it’s extremely cold and asked is this the way coffee is being served ? Their reply is coffee from machine is always cold . My question for them is what’s the whole point of COFFEE if it’s not being served hot . After exchanging words which is not amicably done , they gave me another coffee which is also not that hot but I graciously accepted since I didnt want to create issues because I was not well . The front office lady on handing me the coffee raised her voice and called another lady out from back office and asked me to accompany me to the room to get the first key back . The whole point is to insult me since they doubt I have lost my first key and to take revenge on the three euros they had lost with the first cup of coffee which they had replaced . Keeping staff with these kind of attitudes is not good for the hotel present in a place like Berlin hosting the famous tourism fair ITB .
