Homewood Suites by Hilton San Antonio - Riverwalk/Downtown

This property is terrible. Cleaning was minimal. Some sticky splatter on the bathroom wall, etc. Generally, gross. Entering the lobby you're hit with a noxious scent like cheap cologne on a blind date. No hot water the first day. When asking for compensation I was rebuffed because I'm not a Hilton Honors member; I was told it might take awhile. Maid tossed the room before we checked out. Dumped bedding pile on my things which were on the dresser and took the towels. And simple things like edible oil for coffee instead of real cream.

Muy fácil acceso a todo caminando, bien ubicada. La limpieza no la hacen diario, debes hablar 24 hrs antes para solicitarla, en una estancia de 4 noches solo un día la hicieron😫el desayuno malo, lo mismo todos los días y la fruta terrible, se ve muy mal el uso de platos desechables

We had a double bed room with full kitchen. Nice thing is there was a sliding door separating them so there was a living space and sleeping space. Nice for long stays. The kitchen appliances were newer and in great shape. The refrigerator actually had an internal ice maker which prevented all those trips to the ice machine. Staff was helpful and friendly. Free morning breakfast was decent with the dining area overlooking the Riverwalk. Also, tons of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk as well as many stores. Short Uber trips to airport and other local attractions.

Let me start off with the good. The room we stayed in was huge. It had a sitting area with a pull-out couch and 2 chairs, a table with 3 chairs and a TV. This room was by the kitchenette area which had a microwave, stove top, refrigerator, sink and dishwasher along with an assortment of kitchen utensils/dishes. There was also a large window with a view of the Riverwalk. In the hall was the door to the bedroom with a king bed, a sitting chair, another table and chair and another window with another view of the Riverwalk. The bathroom was also huge and was handicap accessible. The closet was located in the bathroom which was a little odd but whatever. Now the not so good - had issues with the shower, the thermostat and the kitchen sink draining into the dishwasher and then onto the floor. Maintenance fixed everything very quickly, so we definitely appreciated the service. The carpet was dated and there were some other minor maintenance issues but nothing that would deter me from staying here again. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Bottom line - great location and a HUGE room with great views. We enjoyed our time in San Antonio and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The staff was friendly, room and facilities were clean and the breakfast was great. Check in was a bit difficult and for the price I think the room could have been nicer. It was close to the river walk. Parking is ALL valet and it’s $43 a day which I thought was a bit excessive

Ubicacion centrica. Hotel muy familiar . Disponibilidad de desayuno. Retraso para localizar mi reservacion. No se llevo a cabo la limpieza de la habitacion porque no lo programamos.

Excelente ubicación para quienes quieren caminar por el el River Walk Muy completo el Buffette Desayuno

It's got nothing to do with the property itself, but the area around it. That part of the Riverwalk is run down and dirty, I don't know if it will be remodeled but it's very sad to look at. I was here in the Riverwalk prime days and it was beautiful full of life and people now this part of it it's just sad to look at.
