Chelford招待所(Chelford Guesthouse)

我寧願無家可歸也不願再次留在這裡，我非常懷疑政府是否會因為不適合居住的條件而允許尋求庇護者住在這裡。 2021 年 11 月 26 日住了一晚，訂了三個房間，因為我們在附近參加婚禮，房間維護得很差，不是很乾淨，沒有暖氣，也沒有熱水。其中一間房間的天花板正在維修，所以屋頂空間有一個 4 英寸的縫隙，浴室裡全是黴菌，水也從天花板滴到其中一張床上。一扇窗戶沒有亨德爾，所以無法關閉。工作人員相當粗魯，似乎不在乎，不惜一切代價避免。

哇，我的經驗和其他人很像。以下是其他評論中的一些適當引用： - “不惜一切代價避免” - “這個地方需要關閉” 看看照片：絕對噁心。尿在馬桶座圈上！浴簾發霉了！抵達後，業主派他們十幾歲的兒子來幫我們辦理入住，而她則透過電話與我們交談。她希望我們支付現金，儘管我已經透過 ********** 付款，並告訴我應該透過 ********** 申請退款。然後我被告知「由於新冠肺炎，沒有早餐」——儘管我有一張收據，上面清楚地寫著「含早餐」。得了吧，現在一切都開放了，供應早餐已經不存在真正的問題了。這個可憐的小伙子不得不在他媽媽坐著看電視的時候應付一個脾氣暴躁的顧客！當我們終於拿到鑰匙（沒有再付款！）時，對房間感到厭惡： - 茶盤裡沒有牛奶- 茶盤裡的餐具很髒- 冰箱很髒- 地毯很髒- 浴簾發黴- 馬桶座圈上有尿液拒絕入住（而是預訂了一家旅遊旅館）並同意我透過************安排退款。不幸的是，************ 說在聯繫 B&B 之前他們無法給我退款。然而，他們在上週已經嘗試了多次，但都未能成功。所以他們不退款。我將不得不透過我的信用卡發起退款，並且還將聯繫該地區的貿易標準/健康和安全。

Door handle cam off when trying to enter the room. Looking like the room hadn’t been maintained or cleaned for years. Absolutely disgusting! And no refund or contact from the owners. This property shouldn’t be allowed to advertise and should be shut down.

Worst place I've stayed in. No hot water, no towel, no hand soap, filthy carpets, mould in shower and on walls, peeling ceiling, cobwebs, stuff growing in the kettle. I had a cold shower whilst making sure I didn't touch the sides. That place is a health risk. Such a shame as they could do something decent. I can do dated and basic, but not dirty. Get yourselves a couple of cleaners and a decorator. My usual place was booked up but for the same price I get a spotless 1 bed flat with breakfast!

Stained carpets, broken bathroom fittings, damp patches, cobwebs in corner of room, only four squares of toilet paper for one week. But this wasn’t anything compared to waking up with bedbugs! I know it’s budget, but come off it… I would have rather slept under a tree. I left after the first night.

I wasn’t expecting anything other than a basic accommodation. When booking, it said there was a fridge, and a stove in the room. What I got was a microwave, and a grubby toaster and kettle. Unlike other reviews, the bedsheets seemed clean. That’s the only positive! I could deal with the dirty stained carpet. I could deal with dusty picture frames. I could deal with the old cobweb in the corner of the room, and the damp in the wardrobe. ( well a curtain separating an area). Wasn’t very happy that there was only four squares of toilet paper to last me five days! Decided very wisely to sleep, fully clothed, the first night, Woke up in the early hours to find a massive bedbug next to the headboard! Then, on closer inspection I found not one, not two, or even free, but FOUR BED BUGS ON MY PILLOW !! Luckily I hadn’t unpacked my clothes, so I just left ! The place needs shutting down or burning down !

Well, I had seen some reviews before arriving, and was expecting a pretty basic place. I arrived, waited patiently for the representative to come and open up my room for me. She then asked if I needed towels… Of course, I need towels… It’s supposed to be a B and B! She then showed me to my hobble for the night. Now, for £40 a night, this is roughly what I expect as a frequent traveller. Clean sheets, TV in room, kettle, and even a toaster! However, no fridge in room, and no stove top as mentioned. Not to worry, and I dealt with that, so I’ll pop to the toilet… 4 squares of the toilet paper left for me, broken soap dispensers, broken towel rail. So, being ex-military, I can deal with most things…. stained carpets, spiders in the corner of the rooms, cobwebs, no toilet paper, dried dead slugs etc . But waking up in the early hours to several Bed begs sharing my pillow was a bit too far ! I wished I could call in an airstrike ! After reading all the posts regarding this place, it is pretty obvious they don’t care about guests. I have now spent double to stay in a comfortable room. Money well spent.

Stayed in room 6, twin room. Check in was a case of phoning a number and the room was already open with the key in the door. Having the microwave and the fridge is a plus. Property was cold and felt damp. Black mould in cupboard area and in the bathroom. No hot water in the morning and there were no towels. WiFi was bad in our room. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again.

Room 6 was in a bad state. Mould everywhere, spiders and cobwebs everywhere, blind doesn’t cover the window, no lampshade on the lamp, kettle doesn’t fit in sink, no soap in dispenser! Track down to place is potholed. At least it’s quiet as it’s set back from main road
