Great location 7 min walk to Taksim Square. Staff make this hotel, nothing too much and always a smile and welcome. Tip, ask for rooms at the back of the hotel which are quiter (street noise could disturb light sleepers) and pay extra for top room floors. In short we had a great time and would recommend. Hôtel correct,très bonne accueil.chambre correct. Petit déjeuner bien varié sucré et salé. Les personnels est d’une e gentillesse rare à trouver ailleurs. Les réceptionnistes est à l’écoute ils rendent service. La meilleure est le chef de house keeping une dame tres tres tres très gentille et serviable Merci pour tout et à très bientôt

Добрый вечер, хочу поделиться опытом по пребыванию в данном отеле. У нас была проблема с заселением, и мы было думали уйти в другой отель, но менеджер разъяснил ситуацию и мы остались здесь. Район - и хорошая и плохая сторона. Хорошая - доступность во все стороны, плохая - окружение отеля.

My friend and I stayed here for a trip in November for her birthday and whilst the location was convenient and close to Taksim Sq. The hotel staff were incredibly rude especially the one on night shifts. First of all we had arranged a transfer by the hotel to pick us up when we arrived to Istanbul airport. When we came out of the arrivals there was no one there to be seen holding up a sign for us. We waited 3 hours for this and we ended up having to take a taxi by ourselves (my first time in Istanbul) and the taxi driver was horrible. We had a bad experience since landing and when we arrived to the hotel we were greeted by the nicer gentlemen who checked us in. We had explained the situation to him and he felt really bad for us. The first night we decided to go out to explore what Taksim night life was all about so we headed out and came back at 2am, however the front door was locked and we had to keep knocking and rang reception to open up-this in my opinion was extremely unsafe for 2 girls to be standing outside at 2am. In the next following days we had been extremely unlucky and my friend got her passport and purse stolen on the metro. We had no money left and my friend had to try to sort out an emergency travel document with the British embassy however they were closed on the weekend! And the theft took place on a Saturday night. After a long night of going to various police stations and filing a report we headed back to the hotel. The nicer gentlemen was working again and he brought to our attention that we owed them 60 Euros for the transfer (THAT NEVER PICKED US UP) we told him our current situation and he felt really bad for us so decided to help us with this transfer drama so that night we told him we were going to check out and he said he’ll let his friend on nightshift know. On our way out, the night shift guy was extremely rude, he told us we needed to pay for the transfer still and threatened to call the police on us. He then continued to patronise us by asking if this was the first time we’ve travelled since we didn’t know anything which I felt was incredibly rude. He then proceeded to say that we also haven’t paid for the room and I was surprised because why was this not brought up to our attention when we checked in? Also I booked it via *********** and I’ve used this website many times to book hotels and it usually takes a prepayment the day before. I proceeded to check my account and he was right the money wasn’t taken out so I agreed to pay for it. But I didn’t appreciate the way he was speaking to us in such attitude and tone of voice. After all we were the customers and he shouldn’t have spoken to us like that. I paid for the room and he still wouldn’t let us go because of the transfer so we told him to call his colleague who promised he would sort it out for us and he did and he confirmed he would pay for the transfer for us and only then did the rude guy let us go. No late check-out was allowed, and you pay half-day price to stay until 15:00 and full price after 15:00. Besides, the cleaning services do not communicate to the reception when you extend your stay. They come to the room right after nocking to the door even it was the sign "Do Not Disturb".
