Stayed 2 nights at The Bagh to visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary arranged by my tour company Nature Safari India. When I first arrived it looked a little run down and in need of some repairs. However, the room was large & I liked that it wasn't a "hotel" type room. It had a courtyard nearby & large grounds surrounding the rooms & restaurant. There was water provided and a hot pot for tea, The restaurant staff were helpful & friendly. The longer I stayed here the more I liked it. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed in The Bagh for one day with family. The rooms are good (with mosquitoes), food is of average quality with limited options, staff is polite (not attentive all the times) and it is around 5 kms from Bird Sanctuary. The best part about the property we liked was staying in the huge forest/nature with lot of peacocks, birds, etc. It was memorable and mesmerizing experience. If you are a foody (food lover) go to laxmi vilas palace, bharatpur (around 2 kms from this property, but if you are nature lover, no other property matches this property in Bharatpur.

The place is just heaven , staff is excellent, superb ambience with all amenities like swimming pool , pool table , spa , kids corner and a wow sceneric view . Best part you cross a range to enter the resort which is icing on the cake .

Our large group, all ages enjoyed the royal garden with luxurious rooms, great amenities, a princely retreat. Helpful, we requested & got tasty veg food. Enjoyed naturewalk, puppetshow bonfire

We went for a one day trip to this place and it was a good stay. There was a bonfire and dance with music in the evening ***** with a good trip to the Bharatpur national park. We were a group of 20-25 people and we enjoyed it a lot.

Excellent experience, ambience is good and the staffs are really give you homely feelings. And obviously foods are just wow! It's absolutely recommendable and we will already done. The main part is entire property maintained very well. In evening you will have live music sang by one of the staff from resort and just fabulous. And nevertheless the manager Mr Umesh Rawat and the Mr Dinesh both are just excellent and I will highly recommend to contact.

A must in UDAIPUR. A gargen made for the Queens with a lot of thought and science behind it Not just an ordinary garden . Located close to the city . Many photo spots . Memorable indeed MUST HAVE A GUIDE TO ASSIST YOU. Farooq Sheikh was an excellent guide.

It was fantastic experience. The food, the environment and the staff were excellent. Peacocks were treat to watch. The fire flies at night were joy to watch. The morning nature walk was also excellent. Overall an amazing experience ag Bagh resort

A lovely hotel to stay at .. probably the best in Bharatpur. It is well-located for visiting the Bird sanctuary in the morning, it is just 5-odd minutes drive away. The rooms are beautiful. we were traveling with friends, and had 2 adjoining junior suites - both rooms had an extra single wood bed, all ready for the children. Amenities in bathroom are comprehensive. I especially appreciated the fact that they had large reusable bottles for basic bathroom amenities, and refillable glass bottles for drinking water. The world can do with a little less plastic, Thank you Team Bagh!! Great food, we had all meals in the in-house restaurant, and were never disappointed. We had daal-baati (for me), and laal maans (for the husband) for dinner. It was truly awesome! We spent the evening in their swimming pool, it is next to the spa, and shares the changing facilities. It was nice, and at dusk, we saw a number of fruit bats in the sky. Nothing to worry though, they never came even a little close, and disappeared in just 2 minutes. Reminded me of the famous bats sightings at dusk in Bali. Just a side-note for senior citizens - all the rooms are on ground floor, which is a plus. However, there are a couple of low stairs to get to the room. Also, I am not sure if they provide room service. Finally, would like to highlight and commend the restaurant staff who were always extra-helpful, and especially Bhoopendra Singh Ji at the Front Desk who was super-helpful with all my queries. Will definitely revisit. (Everyone has already mentioned the peacocks, so I skipped that. But yes, they are majestic!)

The Bagh was an excellent experience from check in to check out. The rooms are luxurious, the surrounding gardens are very peaceful and the buffet is delicious. The hotel offers a perfect wind down after an exhilarating tour of Fatehpur Sikri which is 20 minutes away.

A quaint, quiet property with family friendly and budget friendly. Rooms are comfortable enough with most modern facilities. The amenities are a bit old but functional. The property has over 100 peacocks and several other birds and animals. We were woken up in morning by peacock’s call! One can walk around the huge property taking in natural sights and sounds. Fireflies are common sight in the nights. The pool is alright and the little dining hall has limited but palatable food options. The maintenance of the rooms and the property could be better although there is massive construction going on, they are making more rooms. Also, it should be noted that there is no Wi-Fi and no tv in the rooms. Over all a satisfactory experience.

We stayed here as it is close to the bird sanctuary. Our room was large & comfortable, with a beautiful covered seating area outside. The gardens are vast and full of bird life. There is a swimming pool, albeit cold water. Nice to relax by. My partner enjoyed an Indian head massage in the spa which was excellent and great value. Dinner was very good and the restaurant staff were very helpful. We were a little late back from our early morning birdwatching but they ensured we had a good breakfast. We wished we could have stayed for 2 nights as the hotel was lovely and the bird sanctuary full of migrating birds.

Pathetic restaurant staff especially jagveer and vishnu. They are insulting. Jagveer insulted me in open restaurant uttering jargon. This is the second episode. These people can never learn to behave. That's the reason no people come here.
