L’hôtel a un style que nous aimons beaucoup. C’est propre, ça sent bon dès la porte automatique franchie. La déco est soignée. Seuls bémols, pas très importants, les chambres sont équipées d’une bouilloire. En revanche les seules prises disponibles ne sont pas assez hautes pour la brancher. Nous avons été obligés de la mettre sur le chevet à chaque fois que nous souhaitions l’utiliser. De plus, les lavabos sont presque plats. L’eau a très vite fait de passer par « dessus bord ». Ce ne sont vraiment que des petits détails. Cela ne gâche en rien le charme de cet hôtel. Nous reviendrons.

L'atmosphère de l'hôtel est chaleureuse et apaisante. Nous avons adoré les espaces communs et la localisation de l'établissement. Le petit déjeuner offre des choix très variés avec des produits locaux frais. Le personnel est sympathique et s'ajuste bien à sa clientèle. Nous avons participé au cocktail du samedis organisé par l'hôtel, ce qui nous a donné l'occasion de faire des rencontres intéressantes.

Tout s’est parfaitement passé pour mon séjour à l’hôtel Édouard VII. Ambroise sait accueillir et nous fait sentir à l’aise directement. Le lobby et la véranda de l’hôtel sont magnifiques. Je reviendrai avec plaisir

Vi fick ett fantastiskt bemötande redan innan vi anlände till hotellet. Vi fick fylla i ett formulär kring vilka behov och förväntningar vi hade på vår vistelse. Vi fick hjälp med transfer från flygplatsen, restaurangtips och mycket mer. Alla vi mötte på hotellet var serviceinriktade och trevliga. Frukosten var toppen! Vi gillade atmosfären och stilen på hotellet. Hotellet låg på en lugn gata men ändå några 100 m till Saluhallen där det mesta händer. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell.

La déco et l'hôtel sont magnifiques. Le personnel est adorable, et aux petits soins. Ça a été une belle découverte et un vrai coup de coeur pour nous. La prochaine fois que nous viendrons à Biarritz, nous retournerons avec joie dans cet établissement.

Beware: You May be Denied Air Conditioning We were there in mid/late May. The hotel advertises on their website as having air conditioning. We were on the 3rd floor & you could feel the heat rising from one floor to the next. The room was very hot. We were unable to turn on the AC because it was centrally controlled by the hotel. When I told the front desk the next morning that I was hot & asked if they could turn on the AC they told me they would not because it was not the right time of year for airconditioning. I pointed out that there were no screens on the window & that bug could come in. They did not care. We had to sleep with the windows open and without a blanket as the heavy duvet made us to hot. The next morning I woke up with a dozen welts my my arms, legs & face from mosquito bites & killed 4 mosquitos. I showed them the bites & that one was blistering & explained I was allergic to mosquitos. They still would not turn on the a.c. & were utterly unsympathetic. The rest of the stay I had to sleep with the windows closed for fear of more mosquitos entering the room. And I had to ask them to give me a top sheet and take away the duvet. I had to sleep with a sheet over my face to protect myself just incase we hadn't killed all the mosquitos & I barely slept because I was so hot! So beware, if you sleep warm & have insect allergies - bees, mosquitos etc you will be in for a very uncomfortable stay if you choose to stay during a time that the staff doesn't consider "summer".
