賓漢頓市區霍利街假日酒店(Holiday Inn Binghamton Downtown)

The staff at the desk and in the restaurant were very nice. But first, the hotel room and restaurant were very cold. Air conditioning blasting when it was already cold outside (50-60 degrees F) saying they could not adjust it or even turn it off. Also we had paid for a king sized bed and given a double! When we discussed it with the manager he apologized but offered nothing for our inconveniences but said they have to contact someone regarding the facilities and admitted that they have a lot of double beds in this hotel (???)

The room was below my typical expectations of Holiday Inn. There was only one drawer for my clothing. The closet was a no show. The ironing board and iron was in the bathroom. The shower head did not work correctly. For breakfast, the server was also the cook, so I decided not to stay. This was a ver disappointing stay. It was shiny and clean but felt understaffed and underfunded.

The room was 80°F when I checked in, with the aircon in the on position and the fan running, had to turn it off and crack the window for the room to be a livable temperature. Was told that the hotel does not have a dual system so only the heat or air in the entire place could be on. Every inch of the hotel was boiling. If you need ADA compliance in any form, inform the hotel because the room I was given was listed as ADA compliant (I don't need ADA so it was fine for me personally) but there were many things that were inaccessible. Furniture in the way of the entry and blocking the pathway around the entire bed, light fixtures inaccessible from the bed, handsoap mounted to the wall at the back of the sink.

We have stayed here a couple times and are impressed with the room and comfort we had. It is close proximity to the arena where we go for a Black Bears game. Would highly recommend

Why they advertise/what they mean by "room service". I Booked this hotel because I thoungt they will bring breakfast/ dinner to the room. However, it is a good choice.

I stay here when in Binghamton overnight. They couldn't produce a room key due to IT issues, the remote in my room didn't work and had to be replaced and the bar/restaurant was undergoing renovations, which is great. The room they set up to take it's place was incredibly lame.

Excellent customer service from front desk ladies. Very accommodating for me with early check in & late check out. Room could be cleaner. Dirt on floor and towels stained. Toilet seemed very old and not cleaned well for a long time. Good quality toiletries provided.

The desk clerk went out of her way to make sure we were placed in a room near my sister whi was solo in her room. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise and delicious.
