Check in was difficult. Door keys would not work in our door or to get in the hotel. Took a long time to repair that. Desk agent tried to get me to leave a 50 dollar bill for security deposit. I insisted I didnt have cash do just charge my visa. Instead he downgraded our room. Its a very noosy neighborhood so brimg ear plugs

So we had two rooms on the second floor. The good was that it was clean, had a mini fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable. In the morning the breakfast available was more than I expected with waffles, cereal and bagels. It was just down the street from gas and McDonald’s and right off the interstate. The bad was there was an odour. I’m not quite sure what it was but although it wasn’t terribly offensive it wasn’t pleasant either. The bathroom needed some upkeep. As the sprinkler in the washroom had a hole around it and the toilet rocked. The carpet in the hallway looked like it needed to be replaced. There was also no elevator which made it harder to bring in a playpen and luggage for all my children. Overall if you’re passing through then this is a decent place to stay.

The gentleman at the front desk night shift on Oct. 1 when above and beyond during our check in . A wonderful hospitable man that you should praise.

Room was very good, comfortable, had fridge/freezer which was nice. Could not get batteries for the TV remote; stuck on one channel and on/off via power cord.
