La bâtisse est très vieillotte. La chambre était très froide (heureusement j’avais mon sac de couchage dans la voiture !), très désuète (et pourtant j’aime le charme de l’ancien !). Prix excessif par rapport aux prestations. L’hôte est sympathique mais l’ambiance est un peu effrayante.

Loved this place. For me it is what France is all about, the faded grandeur of these large country houses, and the generosity of hosts who are kind enough to share their historic family home with you. This one is still owned by the ancestors of the man that built it, and they will tell you about how he made his money! The welcome is warm, the rooms are big. The beds are 140cm doubles.
