The trip was pleasant the area isn't the best but was good for the price.

We live not far from this hotel but had to stay here whilst building work took place at home. We were a little bit nervous after reading the reviews but I’ve got to say, it was lovely and clean, staff were super helpful and it was comfortable and warm. Thank you for looking after us at a time when we were stressed. You all do a fabulous job

We came to the hotel very late in the night and met a very polite and respectable receptionist. The next morning I met a lady receptionist. She's also very polite, respectable and professional. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast even though was a takeaway was good. The room, even though the weather was very cold, was warm and very welcoming. Nice and clean white bedspread, soft and very comforting pillows. In the bathroom, the toilet was very clean. There was running hot water. The bath and shower were also very clean. There were also two clean white towels in the bathroom, and an extra two clean white towels were also available. Soap dispensers were also in good conditions with enough soap for hand washing and showering.

Checked in around 2:30 on saturday and called up in advance the lady (forgot to ask her for her name) we spoke to was very nice and offered to take our luggage upstairs as there was no ground floor rooms available gave us extra tea and coffee. She was very polite and made sure we had everything! The rooms are spacious. Hotel does need renovating compared to other hotels but staff are great compared to other hotels.

Hotel was perfect and great value for money. Close to NEC and on bus route into Birmingham city centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was very good. Laiba and Halima on reception were extremely helpful and able to advise us about the area and places to eat. Ample parking available. Would certainly stay again.

The staff here go above and beyond. The place could do with a bit of a refurb but lovely big accessible rooms and nice powerful shower. Big pub just opposite for lunch and dinner, but not breakfast. McDonalds and other cafes around.

There is nothing bad I can about my stay. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly member of staff, who made the check in process quick and easy, my room was clean, tidy, and smelt fresh as, with the hot weather going on at the time, a cleaner/other member of staff had left the windows open. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone asking for a place to stay in the Birmingham area.

I stayed here for two nights as I had a hospital appointment , and just needed a break from my work and home life. I needed space to think. The room was clean and tidy, the bed and pillows comfortable. It didn't help that the day I stayed was one of the hottest days of the year. But due to some ongoing health issues, I had to stay in. The staff were always nice and helpful. They always remained professional and if you needed any quick advice, they will advise you. I found the location of the hotel a good location. Its off Coventry road , by a residential area so you don't get many riff raffs unlike city centre type hotels. There is a a car park right outside the hotel which is absolutely convenient as I had a lot of bags to take in and out. Next to the hotel is a macdonald, opposite it is a subway. If you drive downtown the road, there are large tescos and further on, you can find swan centre and further on, heading in the direction of city centre, an asda. I've noticed there are families who were staying over the weekend. There weren't really large noises or any inconveniences like that. Only slight downfall is that there are no lifts but then again it's only two floors. Rooms are decent size. Overall I have already advised some family who come from outer town and sometimes stay in hotels, to use this specific one. And I will recommend this one if you want peace and quite, also convenience, especially if you have family or kids. The bus root on Coventry road is also convenient. So overall it's a decent hotel and very good location.

Room is OK for a few hours sleep. There are mismatching lights in the bedroom and the remote control for the TV doesn't work, obviously someone has nicked the cover at some point and it has been covered in black gaffer tape, so the batteries must be flat. The pub next door serves food and it looks and smells good but it appears everything will come with chilli. Its also a sports bar. There's a subway over the road and a Mcdonald virtually next door. It's a ten minute walk to a spoons. The car park is OK with plenty of space and the bonus is it's 10 minutes from the airport. I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than a bed for the night.

NEVER GOING AGAIN THE PEOPLE ARE RUDE i ask a man can i have tea and a towel and the man says u didnt say please so come back in 5 min then i wait there and i hear him backchatting saying i dont get paid enough for this **** and countinusoly saying stuff and the room reeked of smoke and pee

No one’s at the front desk half the time I don’t understand why and I got yelled at because I accidentally spelled cleaning liquid because I was trying to clean my window because it was crusty dusty and disgusting I was sick to my stomach please don’t yell at me I was just trying to make ends meet

I have stayed in many different travelodges this year with work and the staff here have been the most friendly and welcoming I have come across. Everything was clean and tidy in the room and the public spaces too.

The room was OK apart from being kept awake by a helicopter flying around till 2am. The travelodge needs to have a dining room to do breakfasts, instead of a box breakfast. It also needs to have a better car park, without pot holes

Exactly what I needed: price was relatively low, easy enough to get to and the location was good to catch a bus to and from the NEC. I was worried about the limited parking but thankfully there were plenty of spaces available when I arrived. The only issue I had was getting missed for the room refresh which was resolved very quickly by the member of staff at reception.
