The Staybridge Suites are a little jewel in Birmingham. From check-in to check-out, staff were really friendly and professional. The choice at the buffet breakfast was substantial and options for all tastes. Really comfy mattress and spotless bed linen. There was a problem with the fan in my room on the first night, and when I reported it to reception the next day, to resolve the issue, I was offered a different room for my second night. Instead, I just kept the card out of the light switch when I was ready to go to sleep. As I only had one more night I did not take up the offer of the change of room but I really appreciated that they would have done this for me which shows that they really want to make customers happy. Having a fridge and kitchen items was really good. The only downside was that the shower did not drain away quickly, so if you keep an eye on this when you are in the shower, you could end up with water all over the bathroom floor. Otherwise, I would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel right in the city centre. We arrived early but enjoyed complimentary coffees and relaxed in the lounge while waiting for the room. The room was a good size and very well set up. The bed was dry comfy and the shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Breakfast the following morning was delicious. Would definitely stay again 😊 The only let-down was the weather- we had torrential rain in the evening ☔️ Nothing the hotel could do about that!
