One of the best family run b@b in blackpool we've stayed in a few of the rooms over the years all very nice but the apartment is special. Spacious,clean all the amenities you need . Balcony with a sea view and breakfast second to none ...

This is a lovely traditional style bed and breakfast. The hotel is located just down from Gynn Square with a tram and bus stop very close by. The room was quite small (we did book a small double room) but was more than adequate for our one night stay. We had a lovely sea view and the room was clean and bright. The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. There was a limited number of parking spaces but if you are unlucky there is lots of free parking on the nearby streets. The breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. There was plenty of hot drinks, fruit juice, cereal and yogurt. My partner had a traditional full English breakfast which he enjoyed. I'm vegetarian and was offered various options, I opted for scrambled eggs on toast which was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We had a poor experience here,as 2 couples for a one night stay. Cold November weekend,we were told on arrival the heating wasn't working which also means no warm water. Not convenient to try finding somewhere else as wed arrived for overnight stay, so we stayed. As we were just getting into bed the fire alarm went off, so we had to go downstairs and wait. After eventually getting into bed the room wasn't dark with just one pale curtain over the window despite it being brightly lit outside so couldn't sleep. Probably finally dropped off to sleep around 4am only for lt to get windy outside and there was a howling wind outside which was somehow leaking in through the window, which woke us both up, like an alarm going off again . Got up for breakfast which was good, but as I was eating my cereals they brought my cooked breakfast out and plonked it down to go cold, especially as the hotel was cold. A friend said they shouldn't do that, but then they brought out the other 3 breakfasts, as they ate there cereal .Poor service. Good points free parking for some, sea view, cheap, but otherwise poor

Had a lovely stay here. Only knocked a point off due to lack of on site parking as only 3 spaces. We booked the deluxe apartment with its own kitchen and balcony spanning the front of the hotel, what a bonus feature! Lovely welcome on check in and every time we saw the hosts they were lovely and friendly. Would recommend and stay again

Just got back after staying for a week. Had a lovely stay here free parking. Warm and welcoming bed was comfortable room was warm. Lovely sea view and lights. Breakfast was great good portions. Natalie Dunbar

We had a family room for the weekend. It was spacious, lovely and clean, breakfast was great too. Friendly owners, would definitely return to stay again

We stayed as a group of 6 on.our stay was lovely , the rooms was very clean , you had everything you needed . Breakfast was cooked fresh and hot . The owner and son was very helpful ,there was nothing they wouldn't try and do to accommodate you . Would definitely stay there again , tram and bus stop outside , just far enough from town for the not so revellers .

Stayed her for 3 nights early November. Hotel is nicely situated in Gynn Square close to all amenities & tram stops etc. nice walk into town or into Bispham. Rooms could do with bit of a makeover, but are clean & adequate for a short stay. Breakfast is plentiful, hot & tasty. Owners are friendly & accommodating. All in all, a nice stay.

We went for my Nans birthday weekend / bank holiday we also had breakfast it was delicious the hotel was really nice and cosy my nana loved it the owner and her son was so chatty and lovely we will definitely be saying again we had a lovely view sea view Thankyou for such a lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay here (march 2024). The owner and her son were very friendly and chatty, expecially with our 5 year old daughter. Our room was very clean and quiet and it was only 5 minutes on the tram to the tower. Will definitely be returning

What a wonderful place to stay. My friend booked this trip as a surprise, not really knowing Blackpool herself. The location is ideal, within easy reach of the attractions but being far enough away from the centre to enjoy a safe and peaceful stay. We received an incredibly friendly welcome on our arrival. Everything was explained to us and everything worked like clockwork the whole stay. The owners took a genuine interest in making sure we were enjoying our stay, gave great recommendations for where to go. The room was spotless, fluffy towels, comfortable bed and the rest of the hotel was sparkly clean! Breakfast was amazing! Again, nothing was too much trouble and there was plenty of choice. Even with a full restaurant, the owners have got things down to a t. Everything appeared effortless to them and it was clear everyone shared the same experience we did. You could see that the owners took pride in their roles and this really shone through. What a wonderful stay. Such a family feel to this hotel and was the perfect place to stay while I reminisced of childhood holidays in Blackpool. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here as part of my wife's 50th birthday presents , I had booked online after seeing so many great reviews; I booked for 3 nights as wanted somewhere decent to rest our heads after busy days watching illuminations and doing lots of things. THIS hotel is AMAZING, from the welcome we recieved ( arrived early and room all ready so could go straight in) ; to the fabulous room which was VERY clean, well decorated and everything you could need I would recommend this to anyone. We stated in the room with balcony number 5 ( worth it for the balcony views alone ) , which is massive . Breakfast is fab and a great price; MOST of all it feels like staying with family , as the mum and son who run it are so friendly and accommodating it's untrue, felt like coming home each day, lots of advice for catching trams etc. Also the views are amazing, beach access close by, as are tram stops. It's on the quieter area of Blackpool but only a quick tram ride away from centre. Will definitely be returning

Me and my wife had a weekend in Blackpool, it’s been a few years since we have been but what a great time we had. We arrived and was greeted by the owner as soon as we walked in the door. She was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. the room was ready when we arrived as well so that was bonus. When entering the room it was sea view which was fantastic, the only downside would be the size of the room but it wasn’t a massive problem we understand you pay for what you get. Next time we would look at a bigger room if we was to attend. They do a really good job here and look after you really well, I would definitely recommend this to my friends if they looking for somewhere to stay.

Malcolm and his mum totally make your stay a wonderful one. We arrived as guests and left as friends. They couldn't have done more as hosts if they tried. Seaview ensuite room we had was but snug, but comfy and spotlessly clean. Lovely waking up with those views. Breakfast was perfect. Full english with toast, cereals, yoghurts and tea/coffee/fruit juices. Ideally located near tram stops going both ways. Will be back soon for that pint in the Mitre Malcolm!! - thanks again, we both loved our stay.
