The room was so spotless I had no issue with my baby sitting on the floor. I have no issues very nice staff made me feel welcomed. Would definitely come again

Absoulute shambles, booked for two nights (4th -6th October) but came home after the first as there was no hot water at all so unable to wash or shower. Tried contacting the numbers to query why with no answers so we left. Contacted them when we got home about an explanation/ refund and still nothing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

No heating. No hot water. No toiletries. No owner present in the building No response from owner about issues reported.

Arrived to find it wasn't manned had to call a mobile number for codes got our key and went to room.. my god what a disgrace the smell of BO was disgusting pulled the duvet back to find fresh bodily fluids from below all over the sheet I nearly threw up. Found a room open so went into there it was horrible but non of the above tiny room no hot water very run down I wouldn't give it a 1 star the bed was horrendous I fell out of it the door to the bathroom doesn't open it hits the toilet the mirrors are disgusting the cleanliness is very very poor mould on dirty window in my sons room next door and vile room too Nothing like the pictures at all Honestly worst hotel I've stayed in just wanted a hot shower because I feel grotty had to have a flannel wash with cold Water Do not waste your money wish I hadn't we have had No sleep at all

Stayed for 2 nights at the weekend. We had a large room as there was 5 of us. 2 singles, double and bunk beds. We were greeted at the door by a young man who booked us in and helped carry the suitcase right to the top floor, he was very pleasant and helpful, I did ask if there was a ladder for the bunkbeds and there wasn’t, that was one of the reasons for the 4 stars and not 5, we had plenty of room and the beds were really really comfortable, so lovely. The only other reason for the 4 stars was there was no hot water so no chance of a shower. We did message Jackie but got no reply. Other than that we loved staying and would stay again.

It was a wet and windy night. Arrived to find no-one there. Telephoned a number outside got through and sounded as if the lady was in a car took my name told me I was intoxicated and to go next door. Awful attitude .Had to pay for another hotel. I was fine just got impression did not want to come back to let me in.

Booked a weekend away in Blackpool for Father’s Day weekend with my partner and 1 year old daughter. At first everything seemed fine with the hotel, it’s in a great location and our room (number 7) was small and clammy but adequate enough, exactly what you’d expect for such a cheap hotel. Unfortunately this is where the positives end. The owner of the hotel who goes by the name Jackie, while seeming nice at face value is very pushy and has a very dark side to her. She would just grab our 1 year daughter out of my partners arms without asking, would insist on places we should go when we were off out (don’t go to any as none of them were any good and were all her friends) and even done everything she could to stop us going out for a celebratory dinner on our final night of the stay. Upon our last morning at this hotel, we got packed nice and early and I popped down to speak to her regarding check out times and if I had to do anything. She was sat in the front room with a bottle of Gin, drinking it straight from the bottle while having a glass brimmed with pure gin next to her. (This is also the same bottles available for guests to pour their drinks from). She tells me what I need to know but then asks me to sit as she wanted to speak to me, I felt awkward as I don’t know her but I took a seat. She started blasting me for being on holiday on Father’s Day, called me a s**t son for not being with my dad, accused me of causing her unnecessary stress and being the reason of her businesses downfall. Hurled abuse at me for about 10 minutes and told me to never book again and that she never wanted to see me or my family again and that I was the reason her son doesn’t want to speak to her and the reason she’s had to sack her cleaner. She claimed to have contacted my parents to discuss how poor of a son I am (they’ve never met and we all live 300 miles from Blackpool). I politely told her I was leaving the conversation to which she responded by screaming that it if I walked away from her she would be calling her son to come to the hotel. I left anyway and went to get my family ready to leave, while in the room Jackie set off the fire alarms, came up to our door and was screaming through the door telling us to get out of her hotel. She was absolutely terrifying our daughter and when we stepped out of the room as she insisted the alarm was an “emergency” she stood in our way blocking the stairs and our way out. We eventually got out where she partially followed us down the road screaming some more and yelling that she wants her key back. I explained that we still had to grab a couple things as it was difficult to carry everything while holding a baby. Told me to hurry up and leave. We collected the rest of our stuff and when we left and gave her the key, it was like a switched had flicked in her head. We booked for 3 nights as part of a midweek break. On arrival we rang the number provided by the front door and spoke to Jackie the proprietor. We were given an entry code followed by a code for a key safe box for our allocated room, seven. Whilst there appeared no available staff on site the booking in procedure was straightforward enough and clearly explained by Jackie. There were plenty of information sheets and leaflets on display in the hall area, including wifi passwords. Our room was on the 2nd floor, it was struggle for my wife to get the suitcase up the narrow staircase as I had a broken arm, but with the help of a fellow guest she managed it.. The room was cosy, clean and big enough for what we needed. Decor was a little dated but wasnt an issue for us. En suite shower and toilet with a separate sink by the window of the room. It was furnished with enough drawers, worktops and cupboard space. It included a microwave, iron and fridge with the usual kettle and tea and coffee facilities. We did notice there was no hair dryer but a simple call to Jackie sorted this. Whilst on this latter point, we found nothing appeared too much trouble for Jackie to sort and she seemed very eager to please. The clearest example of this was, we had hired a wheelchair and this was accommodated by Jackie finding room in the hall to store it when it wasnt being used. Easy to come and go as we had a key for on or room key which was used to gain entry to the front door. Met Jackie in person the day before we checked out and she was very pleasant and hospitable. Checking out was simple, We just had to leave our room keys in a post box on the wall of the hall and close the front door behind us. In summary, it was an exceptional price and we had no complaints. No breakfast provided but we knew that but despite no receptionist or staff on regular hand we knew a call to Jackie would be enough to sort things. There are plenty of cameras and security wise we felt perfectly safe. It is clear that some people would expect all the 'trimmings' however, it was a budget price and as such you get what you pay for. In the case of the winning post we had no complaints and got exactly what we expected. We will definately recommend to friends and family and hope to return sooner than later.

I booked on behalf of my 18yr old daughter and her partner. After reading the reviews about the host I was worried. When dropping them off I met Jackie the host and explained it’s there first time away etc, she was beyond lovely with them! Really reassuring and couldn’t have been any nicer if she tried. :)

Absolutely nothing was good about this hotel actually a total disgrace and should be shut down. Arrived at door and was advised via phone by Jackie to go into key safe no2 to retrieve our room key. The key was not there and the cleaner was blamed for not leaving it there for us. We were then offered " the best room in the house " which was a room attached to the communal kitchen which Jackie advised that she would send someone down to the hotel to give us a key to lock the communal kitchen. No one arrived with a key. The room was a back room not a family room which had no lock and the snib did not lock. We were a family of 4 a teenage daughter and a baby at 2 years old. It was not safe to leave our children in the single beds in this room. I had to use a sweeping brush from.the kitchen to try and barricade the door so the handle couldn't be opened. We then had to put a single mattress into the small double room on the floor and 4 of us squeezed into that room for the night. I called Jackie to advise no one arrived with key but she ignored my calls. We looked for other hotels but due to being Easter weekend there was no availability so late in the evening. We hardly slept due to worry of someone coming in the room. Going by the reviews uploaded yesterday ( which we had not seen until today) this place should be shut down. I gave Jackie the benefit of the doubt to refund us before putting this review up. She was also drunk while on the phone to us begging us not to leave a bad review when we called about not having a key. Still no response.

Don’t even know where to start, the place is a shambles, the manager that runs the place is a drunk, we booked the Friday to Monday and by the Friday night we were looking for somewhere else to stay. She was that drunk that she forgot to check our group in. Said they didn’t have a bar but we could have a drink and put donation in the manger (the drunk) drank the drink and forgot then demanded we put donations in a tin. Told us she would make bacon or sausage baps in morning but order 26 doublers and demanded we paid £112.50 for it considering there was only 14 of us and that was including small children. The cleaner lifted a bottle of vodka and walked out. Far far too much to list, between her using master keys to go in and out our rooms whilst there to asking the guys to pay hourly for ‘extras’ the list goes on but it’s good to say we did not stay till the Monday and most definitely won’t be back.

We have mixed feelings about this hotel. The owner who dealt with the whole booking/ checking in process (Jackie) was friendly. When we arrived we had to ring her to get a code etc to be let in. Over the phone, she offered us a different room to the one we'd booked. The room offered was on the ground floor through the kitchen, we said yes initially until we got in to the room and realised that the door doesn't actually lock, in fact, it doesn't even close all the way (not fit for women or children or anyone to sleep in alone to be honest)... This felt too unsafe to stay in with our 4 year old, so we opted to go upstairs to the room we originally booked which was better, but still average with outdated furniture and a bit of a strange layout. There were good facilities in the room, i.e. tea, coffee, microwave, mini fridge, iron etc. The window was small so even with it wide open, the room was very hot at night. Wouldn't stay again, but was affordable at only £30, so can't expect amazing things for that price I suppose. Would be nice if owners were more present to deal with any issues.

We booked a family room even though there was only 2 of us as we wanted space. At 4am my friend got up for the toilet only to find a random man in one of the spare beds let in by owner! Owner then come in & was screaming & swearing about us not needing all the beds! Not the point we booked the room not the beds!!! Owner was extremely rude, customer service was absolutely horrendous and they put us in danger letting a complete stranger into the room purely because we weren’t using the spare bed in the room! Absolutely appalling, I’m disgusted by the entire experience! Stay clear and absolutely do not take your children there, there is a complete lack of privacy & care for people’s safety. Plus we paid for a room that we did not receive, as it was more like a hostel. Room was absolutely disgusting!

Everything was perfect the staff was amazing kind friendly Jackie took the time to talk to our child was absolutely lovely the room was clean warm the microwave and the fridge really is helpful everything was perfect about the stay the Internet was fast I will defo be booking again absolutely amazing
