The Manor Coastal Hotel & Inn, Blakeney, Norfolk

We love the north Norfolk coast and try to get there whenever we can. In general we find the hotels very expensive, but the Manor Coastal had good prices for the dates we were going to be there so we booked, having never stayed there before. We weren't disappointed - we had a lovely room, staff were friendly and always smiling, dinner was delicious, as was breakfast. They were having trouble with the hot water system so showers were luke warm, but the hotel refunded part of our stay without us even asking for it. Good customer service, we will return!

Excellent stay, however the food was not up to previous standard. Eggs on the breakfast were very under cooked and the roast lamb dinner on the Sunday was inedible, the meat was dry and roast potatoes were obviously warmed up and hard.

We really enjoyed an afternoon tea to celebrate a friends retirement, it was lovely to have our tea in a beautiful place with friendly staff

A very charming hotel. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed, the public rooms beautifully furnished and decorated, which gave the hotel a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. The team were very friendly and helpful, the dining room served tasty and well presented menus, and the location is superb. The hotel is not perfect, as our room was away from the main part of the hotel, meaning braving the elements, wind and rain during our visit. It seemed impossible to use mobile phones, not sure why, and the kitchen had a tendency to run out of some dishes shown on the menu. It happened at least five times on our three night stay. Nonetheless we would certainly stay here again. Thanks to all the hotel team.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff had a challenge for the one night we stayed. There was no heating or hot water in the room.. The staff did all they could to compensate. We had the use of an extra room, a heater and reimbursed half the cost of the room. They could not have doe more even though the issue was not of the staffs making.

Excellent hotel, finished to a high standard. Staff extremely helpful. Plenty of seating area. Rooms very comfortable and everything you need. Everything was replenished daily. Breakfasts were outstanding, plenty of choice, all brought on hot plates. Cannot fault our stay. Would definitely stay again. I would give this 5 stars.

We wanted to stay as near to Blakeney point as possible to take the boat trip too see the seals and this beautiful hotel was perfect! The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and good fun. The meals were top quality - breakfast and our evening meal were top quality. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and wish we had booked for longer.

Second visit to the hotel,it had been redecorated to a great standard and once again the staff were wonderful.

Our second visit and standards still maintained. Helpful friendly staff, good food and all areas clean and comfortable.
