杜文浦耳酒店(Hotel du Vin Poole)

We were in the Mill House which is off the car park. A quick dash to the main part of the hotel if it is raining but otherwise no problem. The only issue I had was that the bed and pillows were a bit firm for my liking. The staff were well trained and very helpful. Being an old building, the layout is unusual, but it was well maintained and nicely decorated.

Interesting old town house, and now a cosy hotel. Our room was large and well furnished with, thankfully in very hot weather, air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the en suite bathroom was well equipped. There was a good choice for breakfast but we decided not to have dinner at the hotel in view of negative reviews so we tried local restaurants there's a good selection in the area.

It’s ok. Just ok. Don’t get your hopes up. Don’t expect to park there. Our room was small, noisy and smelled of the drain. The hotel was fully booked on both nights so no chance to change despite the request. Long queue and wait to check in and out. On Friday the the hotel staff seemed particularly fed up. The restaurant team were all good and seemed to enjoy their jobs at least. And the place does look lovely. But I would pop in for a visit and not stay there next time. .

Have been before to tis hotel, but I would say it needs a refurbishment, especially the main carpet on staircase, the TV is terrible as it keeps pixeling. the bath robes were itchy and the toilet seat was broken, overall not the standard you expect at these prices, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Totally underwhelmed with our stay. Car got blocked in the carpark and still had to pay £10 for the privilege. Room smelt of sewerage

The rooms are lovely here but it can be a rabbit Warren navigating this hotel. The reception staff were helpful and reallocated me another room when the key didn’t work in mine. The bathroom in my room was lovely with a double ended bath and huge walk in-shower. This is not a cheap place to stay but it is perfect place if you want to hole-up for a couple of days/ The breakfast was very good but there are other better places to have dinner.

The staff are fabulous and so caring you really can’t fault them. The menu is a bit limited if you are staying more than one night otherwise food is excellent. If your not fit suggest you don’t get booked into the Millhouse

Great hotel, room excellent, location near harbour and very convenient. Would recommend although bistro closed due to lack of staff.

lovely hotel, friendly staff. Disappointing to be charged extra for car parking, and service charge automatically added to bill with extra space from gratuity. Had a room in the "Mill House" part of the hotel, so a bit small.
