It took a while to find this place.. and I was expecting to find a normal house with rooms, but we drove up a long drive and found a huge place. The entrance was big - like walking into someone's living room. It was lovely and the kind lady behind reception gave us a warm welcome after a long long drive. We were shown to our room , which like reception, was huge!! A studio with a large and super comfortable bed, a kitchenette area complete with a small fridge, and a tea/coffee station. There was a small seating area with a sofa and a few comfy chairs and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower with good pressure.. Breakfast the following morning served in the dining room all nicely laid out and so we were ready for our onward journey We enjoyed our stay albeit for one night with much needed sleep and slept like logs..

Blessful escape from busy city life. Melanie was super helpful to show us our room. The room we stayed in is grand, the bed is King size with luxury white bedding you get in high-end hotels, finishes in the bathroom and kitchenette is modern with stoneware, aircon to regulate temperature through the night. We slept really well. For dinner we were recommended to order in from a close by restuarant (Mama Sol) which was a real treat. Generous portions, had ribs and chips. Classic South African cuisine. The surrounding setting is like a lodge on a game farm. There are lots of bucks (zebras, impalas? Domestic animals, donkeys). We're about to go have breakfast, which I don't doubt will also be great from other reviews and overlooking the farm.

One of the best B&B’s we’ve ever stayed in (and we own our own!!) From the efficient and friendly booking experience with Marianne, to the superb comfort of the room, and ending off with a FABULOUS full breakfast, we literally cannot fault this establishment! A homely feel with lovely special touches, it’s an absolute bargain at the price! AND doggie friendly too!!

Best Bloem Accomodation - will not get better! We read the reviews and wanted to make sure this place is as wonderful as per the reviews and it was - excellant hospitality and comfort and stay - will difinately stay there again - that is our to go place in Bloem from now on!!
