Estivemos 9 noites no rendezvous bay hotel e foram das melhores ferias que ja tivemos. Hotel - ficamos no número 0, na ultima casa do hotel. Quarto espaçoso, mobilado à verdadeira moda caribenha. (Ver fotos). Casa de banho mais que suficiente mas com um chuveiro que preciso de um upgrade (parou no tempo há 30 anos atras...:) ). Virado para a praia, com um alpendre fabuloso onde apetece ficar horas a ver o magnifico cenário. Tem oferta de 2 águas diarias e limpeza todos os dias. Maquina de fazer cafe, microndas e mini frigorífico tambem disponíveis. Toalhas de praia trocadas diariamente. Extraordinário trabalho da Felicia na limpeza do quarto. Praia - das melhores que ja tivemos oportunidade de estar! Simplesmente FABULOSA!!! 1.5 kms de areias finas e agua turquesa. Sem ondas e com pouco vento do lado do hotel. Agua sempre pronta a convidar nos para entrar. Sempre morna. Staff - desde o primeiro momento fomos bem recebidos pelo motorista Ira que nos foi buscar aeroporto (oferta do hotel). A Carol (Concierge) e a Bela (restaurante) foram super prestáveis durante toda a estadia respondendo sempre de pronto a todos os nossos pedidos com um sorriso nos lábios. Restaurante - The Place onde sao servidos os pequenos almoços (incluidos no preco). Comida feita na hora com excelente qualidade com bolos e croissants fresquissimos. Por sugestao da equipa levavamos sempre o que sobrava numa caixinha para comer ao longo do dia. Tambem se pode almoçar neste restaurante com precos similares a qualquer outro restaurante com vista para a praia. Anguila - alugamos um carro por 4 dias (48 dls dia com seguro) que foram suficiente para visitar os melhores lugares, dos quais destacamos Cap Juluca (Maudays bay, a entrada é pelo hotel Belmond), shoal bay, meads bay. Fomos tambem a saint martin, apanhando o ferry (cerca de 80 dls por pessoa ir e vir). Mullet bay e Maho beach (só para ver os avioes, pois a praia é pequena e está cheia). Fomos igualmente a Sandy island mas com as prais tao bonitas em anguilla nao justica pagar mais de 100 dls para visitar esta pequena ilha a 10 minutos de barco. Pontos negativos - para alem do chuveiro ja mencionado, nao tínhamos muitas opcoes de almoco e jantar perto do hotel (apenas o sunshine shack, bar de praia com bom ambiente mas demasiado caro para a qualidade da comida). Sem carro fica dificil comer perto do hotel. O Ira estava sempre pronto a levar-nos mas custava cerca de 40 dls por viagem. O custo de vida extremamente elevado é outro problema nesta ilha. Almocar ou jantar nao fica por menos de 70/100 dls 2 pessoas. Em cima dos precos de tabela ja caros, cobram 15% de gorjeta e mais 13% de imposto. Resumindo, valeu a pena e voltaremos se tivermos oportunidade!

This is our fourth stay and we fall deeper in love with this beautiful bay every time. Open the glass doors to the back porch and your view is nothing but sand and sea and oh what a beautiful sea! The many shades of blue and turquoise are mesmerizing and it is so tranquil. The complimentary breakfast is unbelievably delicious, the wait staff is attentive & sweet and then there is Carol….I am certain she was born for the hospitality industry! She is full of knowledge regarding the island and just the most helpful person that I have ever known. She is there to be sure that a great time is had by all! The “Thornton Family” will be back to this piece of paradise!

The place was perfect. On a quiet side of Rendezvous Beach which was our favorite on the island. The room was open big and comfortable. Every morning down three steps to the silky beach. Carol the concierge was special. Helping us out n many ways, reservations, car rental help and other accommodations. She was a joy to deal with. The staff was so friendly. The Place breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious with fresh baked pastries each morning. We ate lunch there too and the food was excellent. As were the Pina Coladas. We could drive anywhere on the island within 15 minutes. We will be back.

This was our second stay at this property- the first was 2017. This stay was just as wonderful as the first! We were greeted with a fruit plate and chicken sandwiches when we checked in - nice after a long travel day! The room had a small fridge and microwave and plenty of space. Cleaned daily and you can’t get closer than this to the beach. Breakfast daily is included and a wide range of whatever you like. Carol was very helpful in last minute reservations and arranging a few extras for us such as a birthday cake and massages for my birthday. (My husband coordinated in advance) Everything was perfect and the location is quite with a few beach spots in walking distance. I would highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed a fabulous 9-day visit to Anguilla, and RBH made the visit even more enjoyable. The property is located on the far end of Rendezvous Bay, so it is quiet and secluded. While not fancy, our room was clean and comfortable. Daily housekeeping kept it that way throughout the week. We were also only steps away from the water as our ground level room opened up right onto the beach. What makes RBH really special is the staff. Glenda made sure we had everything we needed. She set up our rental car, suggested and offered to make reservations at top restaurants, booked a charter to Prickly Pear Island, and answered all of our questions. As first-time visitors, we had many! The on-site restaurant, The Place, offered free breakfast, which was outstanding and included wonderful pastries made right on the property by Lisa and excellent service by Stacey and Sharice. (Don’t miss the croissants or blueberry muffins!) We loved every minute of our stay and will be back!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! It felt like we had a private island all to ourselves. The hotel room is spacious, with working AC, and the cleaning staff tidies your room each day. You can walk straight onto the beach from your room and the staff will set up a table and beach chairs for the duration of your stay. Breakfast is included which was one of my favorite parts. The owner, Lisa, bakes a basket of fresh pastries every morning and then you have your choice of AMAZING breakfast entrees. The hotel is walking distance to the beach bar sunshine shack as well as Tokyo Bay inside the Aurora hotel. There is also an on-site restaurant called The Place which serves lunch and cocktails until around 3. Glenda, Staci and Cherise were all wonderful and accommodating. They will also set you up with free transportation from the ferry to the hotel on the first day. Pro tip: make sure you have extra cash for tipping throughout the stay (we ran out on the last day). Will definitely be coming back as soon as we can!!! Thank you for your hospitality and making our stay so easy.

This is our third time to stay here and it is always beautiful and we are always so well taken care of. Lisa and staff know how to provide excellent customer service from picking you up at the ferry to having hot pizza waiting for you upon arrival at the room. We love bringing friends here for their first Anguilla visit because we know they will fall in love with the island too! Can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

The perfect location, huge room. We stayed in an upstairs no kitchen room and it is a huge room with a king bed, love seat, coffee table and 2 dressers and it doesn’t feel cramped. There are 2 double sliding doors that lead out to a wonderful private balcony. It is in a very protected area of gorgeous Rendezvous Bay. This is a great beach for swimming and walking. Plenty of places to walk to for lunch and dinner, but rent a car to explore all the island.

Just perfect. Steps from one of the prettiest beaches, rooms are clean, lovely and have everything you need. Lisa and her staff are thoughtful, positive and just wonderful. Relaxing and peaceful. I’ll see you all next summer. Looking forward to 2 weeks

We don't typically write reviews, in fact this might be the first. It was worth writing since it may help others decide because, based on the limited number of reviews on this property, you might be fooled into thinking it's all rainbows and sunshine. We decided to book nine nights for spring break. We booked four months in advance through a travel website. Contacted Lisa after booking and requested a lower level room with kitchen without a unit above us. She confirmed via email "that is the room I have you in already, so I assigned it to you so it doesn't change down the road." End quote. Things started to get weird at that point. We had some follow up questions regarding rental cars, resort accommodations, etc. but communication would lapse by weeks sometimes. At one point we were wondering if the place was going (had gone?) out of business. I contacted our travel company and voiced my concern so they attempted to email and call the resort but they couldn't reach anyone either. We were asked to call back if we didn't hear anything after a few more days so we could make alternate arrangements. They agreed that this was very unusual and unprofessional. After almost 2 weeks, Lisa got around to responding to us so that anxiety was finally over with. This was only a sign of things to come. We arrived at the resort and were shown our room which was not what was promised. Apparently "assigned it to you so it doesn't change down the road" has a different meaning at this resort. It had a kitchen (barely, make sure you ask for the rooms with the real kitchen if you want the counter top/bar space as shown in their pictures) but it also had a unit above us which we were trying to avoid. We didn't complain though since the resort seemed quiet at the time and there was nobody staying above us. It was a clean enough room right on the beach so we couldn't complain, until... Two days into our trip not one, but two families, (maybe 3?), moved in above us and the stomping began. Trying to sleep at night was a disaster with everyone stomping around above us. You could hear voices and footsteps non-stop until well past 2am on some nights. To make matters worse, the stairway lights outside our room were now turned on shining a bright light directly into the room. We were offered another room a few days later but at that point we only had 2 nights left in the trip and dealing with the inconvenience of moving all our belongings to a different room just wasn't worth it. Lesson here is either get the rooms up top that have no kitchen (I think one of them might) or don't bother since the rooms are not very well insulated. We rented a car through the resort when we got there per Lisa's advice. We were told it wouldn't be busy enough during our stay to worry about availability so we waited until we arrived. Well the rental we got was definitely a heap that was bolted together last minute due to, you guessed it, availability of rental cars. It

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this place deserves it. So here I go... 1) the staff. in case you're wondering, no one at the hotel asked us, or even suggested, that we write a review. this is 1000% unsolicited. Lisa, Glenda, Sharise, Sweet Bella, and all the support staff who I don't know names...took the best care of us. So friendly and helpful. Very patient and accommodating! They gave us so many local tips and made dinner reservations (Glenda's idea). It was always fun chatting before breakfast to catch up on the prior days adventures and continue to get to know each other. We can't say enough about how welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and helpful they all were!! 2) The Place. The restaurant on site is called 'The Place'. Unfortunately they close at 3pm, but for breakfast and lunch, you will NOT be disappointed!! Starting with breakfast: variety of eggs/pancakes/waffles/oatmeat, all served with a very generous portion of beautiful very fresh fruit (berries, dragonfruit, melon, oranges), as well as coffee carafe, water, juice, etc... If you stay there, breakfast is included in room, so we did go each morning, and were seriously stuffed until dinner. The best part was the pastry basket, with delicious banana (or maybe ripe plantain) bread, blueberry muffins and various butter croissants (fruit, chocolate, and plain). I'm not a pastry fan just because of the calories/fat content, but these were splurge-worthy, and hey, we were on vacation! So I didn't venture into the pastry basket much (other than a little banana bread, which was delicious), until sadly, the last day, when I asked what bakery the pastries were from, and I was somewhat shocked to learn that they were baked DAILY ONSITE!! The restaurant wasn't full, so to hear of this dedication was somewhat jaw dropping; especially experiencing the quality!! Aside from breakfast, we had late day snacks here 2 days and they were all delicious. Not super cheap, but you get what you pay for. With an AMAZING beach view (I'm talking toes in the Caribbean) and great service, this is paradise!! 3) Rum Punch at The Place: This drink deserves to be enumerated!! OMG it was so good! Yeah, we had one upon arrival. OK, and a second. But I HATE sweet drinks and was seriously wondering what I'd drink on the island. As schooled by Sharise, this drink has an emphasis on the punch, not the fruit juice! A nice topping of freshly grated spice really adds to it. We literally did not find a rum punch on the island that came close to it....go there! 4) The Rendezvous Bay Hotel: very spacious, 2 sinks (one full bathroom and a secondary sink/mirror large area with magnifying mirror (for those of us who are older and need a bit of help:). We opted for level 2, for what we thought was best beach/water view. It literally took 30 seconds to walk out our door and around to the beach, but you might prefer a first floor room to walk immediately onto beach.. Either choice is a winner! We

My husband and I have been to Anguilla 14 times but this was our first stay here at RVB hotel (we had rented small villas before). A little bit tired after withstanding Irma BUT very clean and the suites are fully supplied with bath amenities and lots of towels. We had a full kitchen but you can opt out if desired. A full and delicious breakfast is included. Enough food to keep you until dinnertime! And the staff is 5 star! Thank you Glenda and her Team. Lovely people lovely place. It's all about the beach of course and you'd be hard pressed to find a more exquisite place to hang out than rendezvous bay.

Loved the mystic and personality of the place overall. Our room was just a few steps from the beach. The staff was very accommodating and wonderful. The beach was one of the best that i've seen. Will definitely return.
