Baker's Hill Inn

Discovered this place when car broke down on I 70. I cannot list all the wonderful reasons to stay in this historic beautifully renovated home. Great rates, beautiful clean room, owner helpful and kind. We are coming back!

A lovely evening in a quaint and comfortable inn. Perfect in every way. Cozy bed, wonderful linens and towels and very clean and well-appointed room and bathroom. Could not have asked for more! But there was more; a delicious, fresh-cooked breakfast and delightful conversation with the owner. A 5-star stay in every way! We will be back.

We had the most perfect accommodations at Baker Hill Inn with our Hostess Lisa. Our bedroom was charming, clean & comfortable. Lisa made us feel very welcome and at home. She greeted us in the the morning with a delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs, fresh fruit and homemade apple turnovers. Lisa even presented our pup with homemade dog treats.

We visited Baker's Hill Inn to explore Bluefield and the surrounding area. Lisa was amazing! She was knowledgeable about the area, gave great recommendations, and treated us as if we were old friends. She's a wonderful cook as well, so our breakfasts were delicious. After a day of exploring, we spent the evening enjoying a glass of wine on the second-story patio. The room was clean and the bed, super comfy. Our room had AC, a mini fridge, microwave, wine and beer glasses and coffee maker. The TV was the perfect size to wind down the evening. Baker's Hill is located in a very convenient spot, easy to find with good parking. We're really happy we stayed here and would definitely stay here again. My first stay at aBnB certainly set the bar high. The Baker’s Hill Inn is, in a word, delightful. I was as thrilled by the cleanliness as I was by the old school charm. Lisa and Erica were both so friendly that it was hard to not feel at home. Check in and out was easy. (And I loved having an actual key for my room) They say breakfast is Continental but it is no where near the “bagel, toast and cereal” bars. There were china settings, fresh fruit, juice, bacon, eggs and homemade blueberry muffin. All served by Lisa herself. (And yes, she also makes the muffins too) The only drawback would be the street noise. But I would definitely be willing to come back and try a room across the hall. This Inn is well worth the stay! Thank you so much.

Immaculate rooms in this historic mansion coupled with elegant bathrooms and a lovely breakfast make this property the best B & B experience I have had by far. Sited on a hill with a panoramic view of the surrounding green hills, the rooms are quiet and restful.
