On the 10th in one of the room 7, my Mom and 3 children couldn't sleep in it because it was fluded with water starting from the bathroom they had to evacuate and sleep with us in our room. We therefore ask for a refund of the day in question. It is worse the TV was not working in both rooms.

Reception was friendly, underroof Parking convenient with a locked Boom after hours. Bedding and bed was in good order, together with the Towels. Unpleasant, the dirty swimming pool, smelly water in the water bottle supplied in the Fridge. Limited TV Channels, no Wifi, Bathroom, no toilet roll holder, no place to hang towels, or hand towel, shower could use an upgrade on the tiles with many holes drilled many years ago. Shower Floor could use a proper scrub, no curtains in bathroom. Curtains in bedroom, looks new, but way too short thus leaving a gap to peep thru underneath. All over, maybe some maintenance due.

It was advertised as a guest house and restaurant. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed! I have a feeling it’s not been operational for a while. The play area is a tetanus risk and the pool was probably last cleaned towards the end of 2019. Not too long after the fridge was cleaned! We had a stop over as part of our CT to JHB trip and were given a takeaway menu as an I don’t care the restaurant is closed. Unfortunately the bistro Allards in town also couldn’t care less so we were stranded in an advertisement lie! I have a feeling the really good reviews were circa 2000. There are undoubtedly better options.

It is not the that I stayed at The Kleipot. It is nice and clean. Close to restaurants. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Worth staying there. We left very early and they made sure that the gate was open for us,

A no-frills, clean and safe overnight stop. The ease of check-out also assists with early departure and the reception is allways friendly. I have stayed here before. What would be great, is if the restaurant or supplied braai facilities were to open up or be available.

There was safe parking provided. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly and offered suggestions for restaurants in the area. The room had a patio and was spacious, clean and had nice amenities. Had a pool and kids playground and trampoline, family friendly spot. Thank you!

Die Kleipot was a very convenient stop over between CT and JHB. Noma was very friendly and most helpful and it was so nice to walk around the lovely garden. This is ideal for families and so nice to find a place that caters for 2 adults and 3 kids... in one unit. Lovely little play area with trampoline and jungle gym, together with a lovely pool to cool down after a long trip.
