I like the closeness to FAU and how clean it is. But it does need some work in the rooms. Rust in the metal of the lamps, my wall mirror didnt reflect an image on 1/3of it (just cloudt glass), cold water didnt come out in kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet dripped... But it is so clean i wont let those things stop me from staying. However not a fan of the $50 PER NIGHT incidents/deposit. This is a recent chamge from $50 per stay. True you get it back but it really lowers the class of the hotel. Staff (beside the on guy who checked us in who might have been new) was wonderful. This trip was a full hotel due to some girls soccer trip which wasnt pleasant. Not hotels fault. A lot of running and yelling in the halls late at night. But the walls are pretty good with soundproofing. Would stay again because common areas are nice and so clean.

My recent stay here was a mixed bag of experiences that left me with some delightful memories and a few areas that could use improvement. Upon arrival, the check-in was a breeze. The hotel's location was perfect. The room itself was spacious and had a certain charm to it, but I must admit that it showed signs of wear and tear, old worn light switches, giving it a very dated appearance. The sofa, in particular, appeared so worn, that made it difficult to determine its level of dirtiness. A much-needed renovation would undoubtedly elevate the room and bring it in line with the Marriott brand's standards. Despite the room's dated condition, I was pleased to find that it was reasonably comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The bathroom, though not extraordinary, was clean and served its purpose well with no complaints. One aspect that pleasantly surprised me during my stay was the breakfast options offered by the hotel. The breakfast spread exceeded my expectations, offering a wide array of delicious choices that catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. It was the perfect way to start each day on a positive note. While the hotel could benefit from some upgrades and a fresher look, it undoubtedly possesses a certain charm that, with a little attention, could make it a top-notch destination. The warm and welcoming staff, along with the excellent breakfast options, contributed to an overall positive experience.

I would not stay here again. I was only there three nights but I could not sleep after seeing a roach crawling up the wall in the middle of the night, on my second night. The next day another one was crawling on the desk. It was disgusting. Worst experience ever.

I've stayed at this particular hotel several times. This would be my last time staying here. First of all the noise level was ridiculously high. On Saturday afternoon when i came back from a long meeting that i had to attend. I had to evacuate the hotel because a fire alarm went off which i was later told by a hotel worker that the fire alarm was pulled by one of the kids. I stayed outside along with other visitors. I was outside almost an hour. I was finally able to go back to the room once the fire depar**ent cleared the alarm and left the building. Saturday night children were constantly running up and down the hall playing. The noise of them running in the hall and slamming of doors preventing me from getting any rest.Im very upset about this incident. After checking out on Sunday morning i walk outside only to see beer bottles at the front entrance of the hotel.Im not sure if this hotel is under new management but i feel there should be compensation for my stay. I will be taking this review to google/yelp so hard working people like myself dont waste their money by staying here. until thealmossta

My first room had a clogged toilet which couldn’t be fixed. They tried to fix it the nite before my stay according to the repairman. I couldn’t use the toilet for 1 1/2 days and they didn’t have another room to put me in. They finally moved me the last nite I was there. I also killed 2 bugs on the floor. Will never stay at another Springhill or Marriott.
