Hermoso lugar para descansar. Muy buen servicio y amabilidad de los hosts. Las comidas de muy buena calidad.Muy recomendable.

Toplage , sehr schöne Fotos, alles nur Schein. Hier gilt man als Gast als eine Plage. Absolut miesen Service, unmotiviertes faules Personal und eine völlig veraltete, erneuerungsbedürftige Anlage. Bettwanzen die einem noch tagelang Schmerzen verursachen gehört zur Standardausrüstung in diesem Hotel. Der WC Spülkasten funktioniert über Tage nicht! Nie wieder und hoffentlich kann man mit diesen Zeilen ein paar Besucher vor dieser Anlage schützen.

The fact that you can get up and just jump into beautiful water is amazing !!! But other than that everything else was okay except the food, the food and only food you get is at a little restaurant they have there by the lodge. The food is horrible. Tuna is canned tuna, prices are not worth paying for the food you get there. Breakfast is also not good. In general food is not worth it. You have to pay 20 to 25 USD per person to go to a decent restaurant. No Ac so it can get hot . Overall it was a regular experience. We only slept there because there's not much to do. We would go to other islands and beaches . It gets boring quick

Increíble ubicación. Nos alojamos una sola noche y tuvimos la suerte de ser los únicos en esa fecha. Las cabañas son sencillas pero es un lugar perfecto para olvidarse de todo y disfrutar de la tranquilidad y el silencio. Multitud de peces que ver lanzándote al agua desde tu cabaña (el equipo de snorkel está incluido) Buen restaurante para comer y cenar, cócteles... Personal atento. El acceso es por lancha y organizan la llegada y salida a la perfección.

Als de zon schijnt is dit echt een paradijs. Wat een uitzicht en wat een heerlijke plek. Goed om vooraf te weten: - je hebt geen elektriciteit in je cabin om iets op te laden. Opladen van je telefoon doe je in het restaurant. Je haar drogen doe je op de natuurlijke wijze 😀 - je hebt we licht in je cabin - je kunt bij het restaurant een mini-cooler halen of een emmertje ijs. Kun je je eigen drankjes even koud maken - er gaat een paar keer per dag een gratis boot. Buiten deze tijden zelf vervoer regelen (gaat eenvoudig /~$15 pp) - het lukt precies om met de boot van 11:15 naar Bocas Town te gaan, lekker te lunchen en om 13:45 de gratis boot weer terug te nemen - verblijf en eten/drank kan achteraf betaald worden met creditcard Restaurant is prima maar niet top (eten is goed, maar prijzen zij hoger dan in Town). Zin om te relaxen in een paradijs? Dan is dit een hele goede plek!!

Let’s start with the positives, we had accidentally booked one more night than we needed, whilst a refund for the would have been nice, the hotel did instead include our daily breakfasts throughout our stay. My partner and I are vegetarian and after highlighting the limited menu choices, the restaurant did provide a vegetarian pizza on one of the nights which was a welcome reprieve, and generally the staff are quite friendly but I’m afraid that’s where the positives end. Our experience started at the boat jetty on Bocas, I was surprised to see barbed wire adorning the jetty, but I was soon to realise the intention may have been less to keep people out, but more to keep the guests in! On arrival at the complex it was immediately clear just how in need of maintenance all areas are. The entire structure is quite frankly, one strong wind away from total collapse. We had booked the Master Suite, so the largest of the room types. The layout and decoration inside was at best, eclectic. There was only two of us, I’m not really sure how any more could be comfortably accommodated. There was a musky smell, it was very dark, and in line with the rest of the complex, very rickety. There is no AC and the thatched roof does an exceptional job at keeping the heat in. There’s three woeful fans, but they have no impact. The bed itself was very uncomfortable and I barely slept for three nights. The power outlets don’t work and everyone has to charge their devices at reception. The rear doors did not close at all, and the front door lock didn’t work. Every day someone was asked to fix these issues, but we left with neither being addressed. I am eternally thankful that we were not robbed or that no one tried to enter the room. The master suite has the perceived benefit of being further away from the other bungalows, but this affords no privacy or peace. Owing to the dilapidated state of the structure, every movement is fully audible, and if that wasn’t enough, the restaurant blasts music for most of the day too. Owing to its location, unless you go to Bocas for lunch, you are restricted to the on-site restaurant. It’s hard to accurately describe just how bad this is. Some easy tweaks could go a long way in rectifying this. Eg if you offer a burger also have a veggie option and who doesn’t love a margarita pizza? It’s also confusing that you must make your dinner order by 5:30pm each day, it’s unclear what control this affords them as it seems all deliveries are already completed by then. I asked for a portion of fries on the first night and was told no (as it wasn’t ordered at 5:30) Anyway, as I mentioned, you’ve no choice so in trying to make the best of it, my partner and I found ordering a starter and two main meals each was the optimal configuration. Yes it’s expensive, doesn’t taste great but at least you don’t go to bed hungry as we did on the first night. I’m sure at this stage you won’t be shocked to hear the drinks aren’t great either. Nous avons aimé le calme, la superbe vue , la possibilité de pouvoir être tranquille sur nos transats et descendre directement dans la mer! Le bonheur! Le bungalow standard était très confortable, charmant et propre. Le personnel très sympa et toujours prêt à vous aider!! Très reposant! Le seul bémol: Les repas sont chers en rapport qualité/prix. On mange très bien au Panama, il donc dommage de ne pas manger mieux dans ce genre d'établissement étant donné les prix des plats qui sont très élevés.

Increible lugar para descansar y desconectar! Una vista increible, las cabañas son muy comodas, la comida es muy rica y el servicio es unico!! muy recomendado! Es una casa sobre una piscina! Estuvimos desde el viernes a domingo! los atardeceres son hermosos! Hay transprte desde el centro de Colon al Hotel de cortesía del hotel para tener en cuenta.

Estuvimos con mi pareja 12 días en el hotel y realmente fueron unas vacaciones excelentes. 1. La vista es preciosa 2. Recorrimos todos los puntos turísticos cercanos y ninguno superó a las instalaciones del hotel en cuanto a flora y fauna marina para hacer snorkel. Incluso hubo un día en que se avistaron delfines. (El hotel te entrega equipo de snorkel sin cargo extra) 3. Pese a que la zona del pueblo tiene bastante basura, el lugar donde se encuentra el hotel está muy limpio y eso se agradece. 4. El restaurante tiene comida deliciosa, con bonita presentación y todo muy fresco. 5. El staff es muy atento, no hubo un día en que no estuvieran con una sonrisa atendiendo a todas nuestras necesidades. 6. El lugar es extremadamente tranquilo y silencioso, es perfecto para desconectarse del mundo y relajarse. 7. Te asean la cabaña y cambian las sabanas y toallas a diario. Algunas cosas a tener en consideración: 1. Es un eco lodge por lo que no hay televisión ni aire acondicionado en las cabañas. Si hay wifi de no muy alta velocidad, pero nosotros pudimos ver netflix sin problema en nuestros teléfonos celulares. 2. Lleven repelente. Pese a que todas las camas tienen mosquiteros, sin repelente seguro que serán un festín para los mosquitos. 3. El agua es tratada, por lo que el hotel te entrega botellas individuales de agua para beber. Recomiendo comprar botellas grandes en el pueblo en caso de tener mucha sed. 4. Para la gente con cabello largo: el hotel no entrega acondicionador ni secadora de cabello, considero que el primero es necesario y el segundo no. 5. Existe lancha de transporte al pueblo 3 veces al día sin costo (con horario establecido), si quieren utilizar el servicio en horarios distintos tiene un costo extra de 10 dls por persona. Por último, apgradecemos profundamente al hotel, a sus dueños y al staff por recibirnos y dejarnos muy lindos recuerdos. Definitivamente volveremos! Atte “los Pontino”.

Un paraíso de paz y tranquilidad !! Aguas cristalinas llenas de vida marina !! Muy buena comida Excelente trato. Los celulares y equipos electrónicos solo se pueden cargar en la estacion de recepción. No hay ningún enchufe en la habitación pero si hay Luz y ventiladores.

Went there with friends and we had 3 amazing days, location is breathtaking, in the middle of nature. Spent hours just relaxing there, enjoying the nature and the good food and cocktails. Easy access by boat to day trips. Owners extremely friendly and welcoming and so were the staff. Simply amazing!

A truly unique location with many kind staff members. But the property appears run-down despite newly painted in yellow and green. We got water down through the roof, when it rained. There was no lock on the back door. Most of the breakfast was good - especially the juice and the beautifully cut fresh fruit - but the serving of hot beverages remained a mystery: Why luke-warm and only half a cup in the pot many times? Most of the dinners were pricy and dubious, like an undercooked lobster and a caesar salad without chicken and dressing, but a tonne of cheese. Is an adult present at these premises - especially in the kitchen region? (Yes, we mentioned all of this during our three day stay. No impact.)

During our stay at Punta Caracol, we celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The setting is simply paradisiacal, perfect for enjoying with family. The accommodations were excellent, and the food was delicious. The tours offered are varied and greatly enriched our experience. It was amazing to see our children enjoying such a special place with their grandmother. Definitely, a place we will always remember fondly.

Spent 2 night enjoying the charming Punta Caracol Acqua Lodge . A simple and traditional resort of water villas reached by boat only twenty minutes from the main town . Closer to a Robison Crusoe type experience without all the bells and whistles some other more expensive newer resorts may offer . Very comfortable colonial style sleeping quarters overlooking the water - hearing and waking up to the Caribbean sea and occasional jumping dolphin was very special . Great value room versus competition direct from their own website , good food and breakfast options . Boat schedule through the day if more eating options or night life are required . Super passionate owner Maria was on hand to advise and support . Thank you for a super stay .
