"Accommodation in Ocean Village Guest review Date of stay: 7/12/24 - 7/14/24 Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Experience summary: Our stay in Ocean Village was extremely disappointing and did not meet our expectations of relaxing holidays. Here is the problems we found during our visit: 1. Bad problems: • The bathroom did not work properly and was not down well. • The shower was covered and the water was not flowing properly. 2. Hygiene and cleaning: • We found cucumbers in the property, which is unacceptable. • There was a rodent in one of the rooms and a mouse trap, indicating they are aware of the problem but have not solved it. • The bed sofa was dirty and there were dead insects and excrement in the corners. • When we move the refrigerator, we found a mouse trap. 3. Service problems: • We were without electricity from 2 pm to 10 pm due to frequent problems with breakers. • We were not provided enough towels or bed clothes for the bed sofa. 4. Staff answer: • We reported irregularities on 7/12/24 and, although we left a additional towel, the rest of the problems were not adequately addressed. • We were told that the problems should be reported when we arrived, but we consider cleaning and safety to be the responsibility of the establishment from before our arrival. • We were offered a 30% discount in a future stay, which we consider insufficient given the level of disadvantages we experience. The hotel is a very good hotel and is very good for the hotel."
