Marriot custom house is an amazing hotel full of history. There is an observatory above the 20th floor where you can look out to see the city. The bar area was playing live music at night and has artifacts to look at and learn about the building's history. The room was spacious and very comfortable for my family and I. The hotel is minutes away from quincy market, aquarium and different stops along the freedom trail.

This was a wonderful experience. The location, the building, the accommodations, and the people - all excellent. Loved the view from the top floor. We would stay here again 100 percent.

This hotel is amazing. Great historic building with a fabulous view of Boston from observation deck. Great customer service at front desk by everyone we delt with. Little weird having a loft instead of a bedroom like we thought we were getting-it made AC a little wonky. Loved proximity to so many things. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing architecture and very nice rooms with a view. 60 channels on the 2 LG TVs but no TV Guide. Told the front desk and they said they would send "engineering" - no one ever arrived. Turns out I was told that the "Guide" button on the remote doesn't work because the LG TVs are not "smart". This is BS. Hard to get to sleep because the heat/cool fans in the room are so noisy and never go off. Had to switch the system off completely. Despite the above we had a great time and the building alone is so unique it is a must place to visit.

The building and rooms are fantastic, but so are many other less expensive hotels within 5-10 minute walk. At check-in, the receptionist was neither friendly nor helpful - she was rude. Despite having silver status at Marriott, she wouldn't look up my rewards number. We arrived 30 minutes early and asked her basic questions about when the room would be ready - she couldn't be bothered to figure it out so we could either leave for a bit or stay close. We asked her to call, but she texted - she was terrible. Also, she didn't give us any guidance on luggage or room access so, we ran into several problems. All in all, the check-in left a very bad taste in our mouth. When you pay a premium for a hotel room, you expect to receive premium service. - that was NOT our experience

Loved our stay. Room had a great view, building had lots of great hang out space and staff was super nice! Will definitely return!

the view, the building & the location

This is my favorite building in Boston. My room was beautiful and the views are spectacular. The location to restaurants and the ferry makes is a perfect location. 10/10
