We chose the Omni Parker House, due its location & grandeur, as we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arriving, the staff (Valet & Front Desk) were very prompt & attentive. Our room was perfect, overlooking the city.
It was a busy weekend at the hotel, and there seemed to be a staffing issue. We noticed this first, when dining for breakfast…we received coffee & juice, then no service for 20 minutes. We tried to get the attention of several people, only to be told they’d be right with us. We tried again the next morning (making reservations helps). Service was much better…however, the food is NOT worth it. The pancakes were not made to order, rather frozen from a box. The corned beef was from a can, jazzed up with a few veggies.
I would stay here again, knowing more what to expect. If you receive any vouchers to be used in the restaurants (they aren’t perks, they are included in the price of the room) I’d suggest making reservations…or ask if you can trade them in for some other service.
