The worse stay ever moths NO AIR CONDITIONING NO RECEPTION SERVICE NO ONE REPLY TO PHONE CALLS .. if u ever need something none will answer the phone HORRIBLE FOR THE PRICE OVER 200£ for a night WILL NEVER RETURN

Bit confusing as to where we were staying - booking was East Cliff but actually next door.....all good after that....Parking bit expensive @ £10 per 24 hours??

We booked late on a super hot weekend in Bournemouth otherwise wouldn’t have paid £200 per night for a room that had such mixed reviews and not air conditioned rooms. The hotel is tired and there was no fan in our room. We asked the day reception staff a couple of times for a fan and they fobbed us off. The night receptionist was great he found a fuse to fix a fan he had out the back and brought it up at midnight for us. One reason for us to book was because we saw the pool. The pool at the east cliff is closed but you can go next door to use the sister hotels pool (we did see a rat in the seating area though). However, what is cheeky is they put a picture of the east cliff pool on their insta account the day we booked…bit naughty that, when you can’t sit around it or go in it. If you book here, you have to see it that you are paying for the location between Boscombe and Bournemouth piers. Also we enjoyed watching the gorgeous full moon from the bar terrace, with a drink, on our way in for the night.

T hotel was completely under staffed...one person on reception, who also had the bar to manage. Generally one person only in restaurant at busy breakfast time. No regular servicing od room...only service when you asked for it, so waste bins remained full. Wash basin would not drain, but in spite of frequent call outs, it was never properly repaired so became unusable. Corridor floors were dirty, and lift floor was sticky with dirt. They put us in a poky little room, in spite of promise of walk in shower, and had to move us the next day. The restaurant was not open in evening. Had to go to next hotel, where the prices were exorbitant. The staff were pleasant enough, but were faced with an impossible task because they were so few in numbers. We paid a very high price for two weeks bed and breakfast, and expected much better service. Best Western should be ashamed of allowing such a situation to persist, and be more honest in their advertising description of the hotels facilities.

Beautiful hotel by the beach with lovely swimming pool, very friendly, helpful staff, big, comfortable room with a sea view, great breakfast. Highly recommend

Bathroom door so tiny we hit the handle every time. Toilet seat off center so we don’t hit the wall. Bathroom has been made smaller to accomodate fitting units but not sure that works!

Windows nailed down. Fire door in room with a bright Exit sign lit up which made the room too light too sleep

A lovely hotel, however a xmas party of 200 people carried on into the morning - so our restful break was ruined. It was fine up until then. Good staff but no one would answer my call 1am in the morning so I will be writing to the GM. Cut off for 12.00 2wpupd have been fine. :(

We were very disappointed, we booked in for the night so we could attend a birthday party in the next door hotel.my sister drove down from London so we arrived at 4oclock with every intention of having a drink in the bar beforehand only to be told on arrival it was the last day of trading and that the bar was shut. Our rooms were a big let down, bathroom smelt of urine, curtains hanging off the rail and chairs were badly marked. I didn’t bother showering in the morning as couldn’t stand the smell.I think if it’s the last day of trading we should have been notified about the bar ect on booking and should never of been charged the full price.
