T hotel was completely under staffed...one person on reception, who also had the bar to manage. Generally one person only in restaurant at busy breakfast time. No regular servicing od room...only service when you asked for it, so waste bins remained full. Wash basin would not drain, but in spite of frequent call outs, it was never properly repaired so became unusable. Corridor floors were dirty, and lift floor was sticky with dirt.
They put us in a poky little room, in spite of promise of walk in shower, and had to move us the next day. The restaurant was not open in evening. Had to go to next hotel, where the prices were exorbitant.
The staff were pleasant enough, but were faced with an impossible task because they were so few in numbers.
We paid a very high price for two weeks bed and breakfast, and expected much better service. Best Western should be ashamed of allowing such a situation to persist, and be more honest in their advertising description of the hotels facilities.
