康諾特旅館(Connaught Lodge)

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Probably the biggest room for a standard double. Very short walk to a great beach. Staff very helpful

We were in the Connaught lodge which is next door to the Connaught hotel. It was in need of updating as it had the look, feel and smell of an old people’s home. The smell was awful. The room was large but the shower was mouldy and noisy, the walls were paper thin and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Granted it was only £89 (including parking) but I think there is probably better options in Bournemouth. I wouldn’t return.

Our stay was good & the area is perfect distance to the beach & also to town The property looks very run down compared to the photos & there was a horrible motor noise the whole time we were there The room was very dusty & general cleanliness was not very high. Every time you turned the tap there was a really loud vibrating noise which was very off putting. The bathroom shower was mouldy & put me off using it.

We stayed in the lodge building of the hotel. The building and decor were quite tired. We unfortunately had issues with a smelly drain in the bathroom and an air conditioning unit that made random whirring noises in the night although it was not actually turned on. The breakfast quality was fairly poor. However the bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Wasn’t informed about restaurant and bar closed due to private function. Sauna shut. Room dirty mould all around window sills, bath panel broken, toilet wouldn’t flush, booked double bed room and got two single beds chucked together, thin walls, could hear someone snoring and racing cars all night. Over priced,If you want free parking book direct.

First..not a 4****..We arrived at hotel to check it..which the process was smooth..but there was no parking spaces,u cant book them or reserve them and it costs £8 pounds a night,which it wasn’t a problem,the fact that it works on first come first serve it was a problem and it doesn't say anywhere on website, we manage to get a parking or make one which was ok with the guy who opened the "gates". So the rooms are in tge next building. When we got in..omw the smell it was horrible..like a bad sweet smell that would make ur eyes watery..4****..no way..the cleaning very disappointing..rooms ok. But get some ear plugs with you as there are quite a few weddings at the hotel and the music is really loud. It is nit a 4**** hotel..more la a 2** and a half if so.

Hotel personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hotel heeft nood aan een serieuze opfrisbeurt, wel dat de kamers net zijn. Omgeving lopen er veel daklozen rond onder invloed van.Parking is ok.

There was a wedding reception being hosted every night of our stay and also the facilities are definitely not 4 stars but on a 3 star base.
