珊瑚灣酒店式公寓(Coral Cove Apartments)

Location location location. Spacious and clean apartment. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful and well maintained tropical garden and pool area. Easy access to the beach, pool area and the restaurant. We had a great time together and we highly recommend to stay at the Coral cove apartments when you visit Bowen.

After so many years of spending time at this once beautiful resort it’s sad to see how much the new management have let it become run down. It is an absolutely beautiful spot to stay. Beautiful beaches, clean water and really peaceful. The building security is now non existent, anyone can now get access to the grounds and buildings where as before it required a fob, the gardens are full of ****s and even furniture, the pool is filthy with slime on some of the walls. The front beach access is full of prickles. The terrible smell that greets you when you first walk into the reception area is overwhelming. The apartment we were in was clean but badly in need of some maintenance, TLC and a thorough clean. Doors that jammed and one we couldn’t even get open, stains on the rug and blinds, fans that didn’t work, It’s such a shame to see an amazing place deteriorate. I hope the owners of the apartments and/or the owners of the management rights take action before it gets worse.

The location is fabulous, we were blown away with the view and the sunset we arrived to. The 3 bedroom apartment was large and clean, had so much space for a family of 5, it was great. The pool was warm enough and the kids enjoyed hours in there, the closeness to the beach and Grays bay was superb. Reception were so helpful when we arrived, we could walk to horseshoe bay and the cafe there, it was so relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Our apartment was on the second floor with excellent views across the beach, sea and mountains in the background. Spacious, modern and clean, with all the necessities for a long stay. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, plus a balcony for viewing the sunsets. Main bedroom had a comfy bed, clean ensuite and dressing room. It is a two bedroom apartment but for us used as a one bedroom, the second bathroom open so we could use the washing machine. It was all in good order. We were grateful the aircon was turned on for our arrival on a very hot afternoon. There’s a lift from the secure basement carpark - very convenient. A very comfortable stay and we would definitely visit again as a preference in Bowen. Not cheap but well worth it.

I stayed here with my family including two teenage daughters and a girlfriend so 5 of us. It was so spacious we all had plenty of room which was great. The furnishings were very nice but the beds too soft for my personal taste. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked a lot during our stay. The apartment we so nice we didn't feel a need to go out. The view was absolute perfection, even on our lower floor. Secure parking with two numbered and allocated spots was a bonus. My only complaint was the restaurant was very noisy so at night we shut the doors and in the morning the restaurant cleaners were also very noisy. Shutting the door blocked out all the noise. Having said that, it was convenient to just go downstairs to get a beer or a meal at the restaurant so the restaurant was a mixed bag. We enjoyed our stay here so much we plan to visit Bowen annually and to stay at Coral Cove Apartments.

WOW. The apartments are incredible. Have stayed twice now. And every room has magnificent view. The apartment has everything you need. Kitchen & Laundry fully equipped. Bathrooms Sparkling clean. And the view on the balcony every night was amazing but different. Just a pop down to the beach for snorkeling and Kyaking etc. Walk to cafe and restaurant. Kate & Pat the owners just willing to do all they can for you. The grounds are immaculate. Not one cigarette butt to be seen.

Resort itself is 5 star, fantastic position, right on the beach. If you want a peaceful and relaxing time do not stay on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The noise from the restaurant is terrible, had to shut the doors to hear the TV. Pool closing time is 1900, which I thought was strange as Bowen can be extremely muggy of a night, whether it is to please the restaurant who knows why. People got to realise that noise travels in these places, being woken up by loud mouths down stairs at 0530 was not welcomed. For the money we paid we expected more, but will not stay again. There are signs around to say all noise must be done by 2100 yet there is no management of noise from the restaurant. Noise went well past closing hours keeping us awake.

We recently enjoyed a 3 day stay at this resort. Our unit was lovely and clean with beautiful views over the ocean. On site managers were very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be coming again.

Doing a long haul drive from the south to far North Qld. Now Bowen is not the most exciting of towns, but if you drive 10 minuet through the town to Horse shoe Bay you will be well rewarded. We stayed at Coral Cove Apartments number 31 to be exact . The unit was spotlessly clean, with amazing views. Everything you could need is there. Very large fridge, washer and driver, great bed and even better pillows. 2 Minuets walk to the cafe with great coffee and meals at a fair price. The bay is perfect if you have a young family.
