一次非常愉快的住宿，主人非常友好和專業，沒有什麼麻煩，會向任何人強烈推薦賓館。考慮到位置距離溫德米爾湖有多近，免費停車是一個很大的優勢。早餐選擇一流，賓館附近有許多午餐和晚餐選擇。

我們的房間非常舒適和乾淨。早餐很棒，正是我們一天所需的。主人朱莉和拉塞爾非常友好且樂於助人。距離溫德米爾周圍的商店、咖啡館和餐廳以及停船碼頭僅有很短的步行路程。我們住得很愉快。

We booked our stay in the Melbourne guesthouse so that we could spend Easter in Bowness and I have to say we were delighted with the experience Communication between the owners and ourselves leading up to our arrival was spot-on. On arrival. We were advised that we had been upgraded to a front bedroom with a king-size bed. The room was pleasantly large and exceptionally clean. We had all the usual amenities along with complimentary tea, coffee milk, and bottled water. We were asked what time we would like our breakfast each morning and opted for the 915 slot. The breakfast was again superb with cereal, yoghurt, toast, tea, coffee, full Cumbrian breakfast or a full English breakfast or anything in between I had full Cumbrian on my first morning and poached eggs on the remaining mornings my wife, having full Cumbrian breakfast each day. The owners took an interest in all of their guests, checking that we knew where things were in Bowness, and how to get around via buses and lake cruises Access to the guest house was by key, and no restrictions were placed on what time you could come back after a night out We only had one issue while staying, and that was all that we couldn’t get a radiator to work, but speaking to the owner, this was resolved immediately I would also advise that where possible book direct with the guesthouse, as you will save 10% on your bill, and all of your payment will go to the owners rather than a booking site I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely little guesthouse, which is ideally situated at the top of the hill in Bowness, giving access to both Windermere and Bowness alike I am sure that if I was looking for accommodation in Bowness again, I would not hesitate in rebooking at the Melbourne guesthouse

Perfect friendly guesthouse in an ideal location. 5 minute walk to the lake and lots of lovely restaurants and pubs right outside the guesthouse. Hosts are friendly and so welcoming, rooms are clean and comfy and the breakfast in the morning is perfect! Would 100% recommend Melbourne Guesthouse when visiting the lakes and we will definitely be back!

The stay was lovely the owners where friendly and the room was spotlessly clean . I must say it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in wish I could of taken the bed home .The breakfast was hearty and tasty a great start to the day . We will return and definitely recommend this little gem of a bed and breakfast .

Quaint little guest house ideally situated close to the town. Everything at hand within minutes of walking distance. Friendly host. Comfortable room. Breakfast ample, lovely little breakfast room and great service. Would recomened and would stay again..
