We stayed at this gawgus hotel and I cannot fault it one bit. The room was spotless, loads of pillow which was great. The pub is delightful. It's smack bang in the centre of town. Slept like a log. Breakfast was superb and the coffee was great. The host were out of this world We certainly will be back x

Called in few times for drinks and food, lasagne was extremely filling and very tasty, served piping hot. Plenty outside seating and dogs welcome. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside has been decorated, new tables and chairs , and lot lighter

Lovely little b&b in good central spot in bowness Windermere, nice clean rooms, Good shower, tea coffee making facilities Good selection for breakfast, nice full English. Nice bar downstairs, with good food menu. Limited car park availability

Very nice pub/B&B short walk to windermere lake. Breakfast freshly cooked and tasty, overall positive experience, its better than the 2 stars it seems to have. Room was lovely, only comment would be lot of steps to the second floor, and uneven outside so not great if not steady on feet. Hosts very welcoming

Great place for a pint in Bowness, friendly helpful staff with a good selection of beers. We had already eaten but the food looked great too, we will be back to try it! Definitely worth stepping off the Main Street for

Stayed here over Easter , can’t fault anything , room was very comfortable and clean, the staff were great friendly and helpful,breakfast cooked to order delicious, and we were located in the centre of bowness, had a meal in the pub delicious, can’t wait to come back a very enjoyable visit .

On arrival was well welcomed,staff are lovely, rooms are amazing very clean I would recommend this place 100% I was made to feel extra special on my birthday with Prosecco waiting for me thank you for a lovely stay

Popped in today for something to eat, we got Hunters Chicken, a fish goijon sandwich and, for me, the fish and scampi special. All of the food was beautiful and the staff were fantastic and so friendly and welcoming, especially the guy with the Northern Irish accent, sorry if you’re reading this as I didn’t catch your name, but thank you for the welcome and beautiful cuisine.

My sister and I popped in for a pint after a long walk. We didn’t intend eating but the menu looked very interesting (even as vegetarians) so we opted for lasagne and chips. Maybe not the most exciting dish in this day and age but it was DELICIOUS. And despite our best efforts, we could not quite finish it! The waitress was lovely and friendly and the atmosphere cosy with a fire in the grate. Superb….
