The Sebel Bowral Heritage Park

We have just returned from 2 wonderful nights at the Sebel Bowral. We loved that when we arrived we were greeted by a very polite gentleman who granted us an early check in as we were due at a wedding that afternoon. checkin was prompt and we made our way to our beautiful room. The room Was the cosiest , cleanest and most spacious room we have stayed in a long time! the decor was modern , and we loved the fireplace and the spa bath. The beds were super comfy , very hard to get up from in the morning! . The gardens and surroundings were beautiful and very well maintained and clean. will definitly return and stay here again, we did not want to leave! the perfect & relaxing weekend break! we also used the pool and it was lovely and fresh in the morning . the apartments were well kitted out with everything you need for a weekend break self catering! The rooms were the nicest we have stayed in for a long time!

For a start, there is no parking outside of "reception" which is only open between 3-5 for check in, find a park "somewhere", then try and find reception. Then, the apartment block is down at the back of the property- the rest of the villas are privately owned, and they just send you off on your own. Don't expect any help with your bags, despite the hefty price tag for the rooms. When you eventually find the apartment block, there is no lift to the first floor apartments, and there are even steps to the ground floor apartments. No one will offer to relocate you even if you are visibly disabled and have been assigned a first floor apartment. Our spa bath didn't work for the 2 nights we were there (we later found out all that needed to be done was to flick a switch in the fuse box but despite multiple calls to management they couldn't rectify this), the safe was locked shut, and there wasn't even sachets of decaffeinated coffee. The pool is only open from 9-5 only it doesn't open at 9 because the manager doesn't turn up on time to open it at 9 and you have hang around in the cold waiting for her to arrive. I'm surprised there hasn't been an older person fracture a hip here. You can definitely find better value for money somewhere else and better service almost ANYWHERE ELSE.

This is on the southern end of Bowral but it's only a 5-minute walk to the town centre. The accommodation is set amongst very well manicured lawns and gardens. There's a pool, gym, BBQ, and plenty of free parking. Outside our comfortable and spacious room was a filtered chilled water tap and also one for sparkling water.

Great accommodation, great location. Good size for families.

Very quiet property clean modern apartment beautiful gardens well maintained only issue pool was some distance from our apartment 205 highly recommend.

We spend two nights in a two bed-room apartment and enjoyed our stay. Great location, a short easy walk to many restaurants and the shopping centre. The apartment is large, with a well equipped kitchen, tastefully decorated and very comfortable bedding. It is worth noting that as there is no lift, you need to carry your luggage to your room. The apartments are located in a big, beautifully maintained garden (the apartments back onto a busy road). A great place to enjoy a break in Bowral.

The apartments at this property are large, light & in excellent condition. They are in a block surrounded by owner occupied residential villas. The gardens are kept to a high standard to give an overall quiet, leafy setting. My negative points would be the block is by a very busy road used by heavy vehicles so sitting outside is almost not possible. Inside very quiet. The shower is over the spa bath with no hand rail so very tricky almost dangerous. And finally it’s 20 mins walk from town with only one restaurant close so to go out to eat with a drink in town is another concern. Bowral is alive with lunch spots but be aware on Mon & Tues it’s almost closed in the evening unless you want pub grub.

Lovely superior property, large rooms, fully equipped with oven, microwave etc and wash m/c and Dryer. Most Accor properties with apartment style accom. are excellent but this one really is a cut above. It comes up a little short on facilities, (ie no restaurant) but in terms of comfort, cleanliness, beautiful decor, you will not be disappointed. Bowral is a lovely wayside stop on your way to Sydney, a delightful bustling but charming little town that is the home of Australian Cricketing Legend Sir Donald Bradman's museum, with loads of top end shops, cafes but also a good spattering of Op shops, if that's your bent. Antiques a plenty, Devonshire teas...dont miss "Dirty Janes" nice little tea house inside, that do the most scrumptious flavored scones (and scented creams and curds...Yum) and very generous pots, like 4 cups, they also do high teas. (looked nice, didn't try) It's just off the main street and has a warehouse full of mainly unmanned independent shops serviced through DJ's. If you can't find something antique..ish there, your not looking. Clothes, records, crockery , bric a brac... Great accommodation in a hidden Gem of a little town. Ilona and SteveeD

first off not any mention of all the stairs required to get into this frist floor property.. then the bathroom and kitchen were noticeably dirty. Really not a good thing in Covid times.. Bed was very comfortable and the space was nice enough ..the heating was very poor and hard to control.. would not recommend this place..wish i had booked next door...
