Room was bright and spacious and the location is great. Shower area is nice and spacious too. Only downside was found some insects in the cupboard. Otherwise everything else was great.

No aircorn, dusty carpets and tables, and if you leave the window open then smell of rotten eggs which wont be good at all. There was no resolution but sorry to everything.

Room a little cramped. Wonderful bathroom. But value for money. Some confusion on how to get to 4th floor as not explained stairs only from 3rd floor

We recently spent the weekend at the Great Victoria Hotel in Bradford for a university reunion. (We graduated in 1983) It was clean and tidy, the room was comfortable but the decor all looked a bit old and tired. The staff were friendly but there weren't many around so we had to go and find the receptionist and bar person a couple of times. The city of Bradford was disappointing; no pubs open in the centre on Saturday, police attending a fight, construction work and road diversions in place etc.

Main thing about this hotel is the location. Right next to the main station and across the square from the Court. If that's what you want, then brilliant. Rooms? Clean and comfortable, if rather 'tired'. Everything a bit tatty. But perfectly OK. Main downsides? The restaurant and the 'gym'. The gym is in a smelly basement with some very basic and (again) 'tired' equipment. But the restaurant... One of the worst meals I've had in my life - and expensive with it. 'Cajun spiced haddock' sounded experimental but was merely awful. Two grey and watery chunks of haddock sandwiched together (I assume they couldn't be separated when frozen), with a dollop of frankly disgusting orange goo on top. Also, 'saffron mash' that tasted like instant potato and food colouring. Green beans had definitely seen better days a week or so ago. All this for twenty quid.
