When you first walk in it feel like a 4 star hotel bit as soon as you go to a standard room it does feel 3 star , the rooms are tiny and the smell in my room was really annoying ,its hard ro describe it wasn't bad or foul...Best way to explain it is each person has a unique smell usually there home also has this scent unique to them it smelt like that... I'd rather smell nothing ( neutral smell) or a air freshener. I don't know if it was coming from the carpet or all the furniture but it was very annoying. Also to note it was 20 degrees in the day and about 17 at night outside but in my room it felt like it was 25-28degress it was hot, I had the radiator switched off, fan on full blast with toilet and bedroom window open on full throughout the whole stay and remained hot and clammy. Room felt outdated however u know your in a nice solid victorian building when you pay attention to detail and for the price of £53 a night to stay here it not to bad , u got to fight for parking space as its first come first serve basis, but if they can refresh the style eg different colour bedroom walls , carpet and furniture and include air con this would be a brilliant hotel and to take it even further turn 2 rooms into 1 so it's bigger.
Would I come back.....probably not unless I can't find another place or if there's another deal that's better than £53 than maybe.
