迴廊旅館(The Covered Bridge Inn)

This is a good little place to stay. It’s not fancy. But it’s nice enough for a night or 2.

The motel lobby, common areas and our room were basic but clean and nicer than expected given the modest price. The continental breakfast didn't include hot items but the selection and quality of bread, bagels, cereal, yogurt, juice, etc. was decent. A supermarket and several restaurants are nearby. Overall our stay was pleasant with no issues.

The bed was comfortable and the room was large. Check-in/check-out was easy. Shower head had lime build-up all over it, one pillow was stained, shower floor stained. If you're looking for a place just to sleep for a night under $100 this is suitable. I wouldn't book an extended stay

This property was NOT handicapped accessible, the attendant was extremely rude, called us twice to ask when we would be arriving because he wanted to go to bed and despite telling him the exact time we would arrive he made us stand outside in the snowstorm waiting 7 minutes for him to come let us in just to tell us the only available room was upstairs and there was NO Elevator. We absolutely could not stay, my husband has no legs! Then he refused to refund us!

Clean property. Some missing trim and stained ceiling tiles. Minimal breakfast. Hot and cold water controls backwards in room. Comfortable bed. Excellent value for the money if you're looking for just the basics.

Room was clean, up to date, and fully furnished with a mini fridge and microwave, as described. I was happy, nobody smoked there previously, so no smell. I was not happy that Travelocity said a card was only needed to hold the room, but they required me to place a hold on it for incidentals. I wanted to do all cash, because another hotel kept a hold on my card for 3 weeks! Covered Bridge said when I checked out, the hold would be released automatically within two hours, but there was still a one hundred dollar hold late in the day which I had to call them about. I was not happy after reading that the card was not necessary on Travelocity.

The lobby is small and very dated but don’t let that fool you. Our room was very nice and seemed updated. It was clean and modern. The king bed was very comfortable. It had a “fireplace”, which was actually just an electric heater with a fire image. Still a nice touch. The hallways smelled of old smoke, which I suspect is lingering in the carpet. The cold continental breakfast was adequate but we ended up getting a more substantial breakfast after check out.

For a ski weekend, we (dad and two kids) booked this property given the price point. The staff were very friendly and the beds/pillows were comfortable. Although, it is right off a main road, the room was very quiet. It was perfect for our one night stay. However, there are a few things that management could do to improve the experience. 1) nail down the heads of the nails (room 208) that are sticking out of the floor (we have holes in two sets of ski socks that in aggregate cost half the price of the hotel stay) 2) just take a few minutes while cleaning the bathrooms to take the paint splatter off the toilets and other (this would enhance the stay for some). In summary, this is a GREAT place for the price point, but if you have a significant other that has trouble with "rough edges," avoid this and pay more.

The property is very basic. Everyone is kind and I appreciate their hard work to make this a nice place to stay. It's very simple though. It's not a new property. If you are looking for something special, this isn't the place. If you need a place to stay without perks, this place is fine. A benefit is the food nearby. Also, it's a good place to stay if you are skiing Vermont and New Hampshire.
