This is an amazing hotel in a great location, perfect for chilling out and relaxing. The breakfast was great and the drinks were fantastic. My only criticism would be that there is no casual dining option (burger, sandwiches, etc). I’ll definitely be back.

Staff was amazing, and the amenities were as expected. My sister and I had a lovely stay. Were definitely going back.

Wonderful hotel and grounds. Very relaxing. Nice change of pace from the hub bub of Dublin. Excellent service. Loved the pub. Would highly recommend.

Reception made a couple of mistakes with my reservation and stay. I called a day earlier to check-in the night before and reception was nice and assuring that both bookings would be linked and no need for a check-out/check-in needed. They also said I'd stay in the same rooms and same floor for both rooms. In a two-night stay I had to change one of the rooms and check out and check-in on both 509 and 515/519 for absolutely no reason, while locked out of my room and belongings for over an hour. Ive spent 2,200 euro in the worst way possible. Went for dinner on the second night and neither restaurant nor pub could accommodate us (party of four), had to leave hotel to feed my child. Unless you're childless and willing to golf, I wouldn't go there.

Everything was excellent apart from sleeping. Room 346 next to ours TV was blaring all night and when I complained to reception turns out nobody was in the room but they said remotes from other rooms can turn them on. Came away with a glib apology and completely knackered - not a 5 star experience on my birthday weekend.

I come back here every few years and it never disappoints. The service, place, food, friendliness of staff, quality of the rooms etc are excellent. It’s a perfect getaway. :)
