北星旅館度假村(North Star Lodge & Resort)

The stay at North Star Lodge was unpleasant experience. We booked a room with two beds. The only thing we were looking for was a clean bed to get a good night sleeps. What we found was a bed with a stained bed cover with dirt and dead bug on the sheets. The sheets looks like they reused the same sheets the previous guest used. I have reported the incident to the hotel so they have a chance to make it right but the front desk person refused to handle claiming I have booked the hotel through trip.com.

Die Lodge ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und hat eigentlich nicht viel zu bieten, als einen schönen beheizten Aussenpool. Es gibt kein Frühstück oder einen sonstigen B****rvice, der den Tagesausklang am grossen Lobbykamin begleiten würde. Unsere Zimmer im Seitenflügel war sehr dunkel, durch Bäume kein Tageslicht. Zimmer war groß und sauber. Für die Leistung ist der Preis zu hoch, es ist nicht mal Skisaison gewesen.

This place was not it. We ended up checking out early because we were so disappointed. The facility was very outdated. The bed was so old that when you sat on it you could hear the coils moving and it went flat. There was an paint peeling in the rooms. There was soap scum behind the bathroom sink. The bathroom door was breaking apart at the bottom. There was a stain on the floor that you couldn’t feel comfortable not wearing shoes. There was a stain on the shower curtain. You could hear every time the people above us sat on the bed. When you arrive you get handed a paper explaining they are low staffed so you may not get the daily clean and that there is a shortage on towels. It was just a sad experience and not worth it.

This was my second stay at North Star this ski season and I would definitely return. Close and convenient to Killington for skiing and to apres ski dining options, the North Star is a great ski lodge -- nothing fancy, good on-site dining, cozy common areas, etc. One major perk -- the outdoor heated pool!

Great location, view of the mountain and heated pool. Continental breakfast would be a nice addition and some upgrades to the rooms but other than that we had a great time!

When I arrived, there was a half empty can of White Claw in the room refrigerator and the freezer section had a chunk of ice so big it took up over half the small amount of space, making the freezer section almost unusable. Room thermostat seemed to be 4 degrees off. No "do not disturb" sign to put on outside of door. People staying above me had heavy footsteps and I heard them stomping around at times, and I also was able to hear hallway conversations, kids running up and down the hall, and other people's doors being slammed shut constantly. I stayed at this hotel a long time ago when their restaurant had breakfast and I'd much prefer a breakfast option than the current bar/lounge with dinner. Coffee and tea are available in the morning but the hot water for tea tastes like it was run through a coffee maker. Hotel was clean and location is great if you plan to ski Killington. Staff was friendly.

This is a nice hotel especially for a family. We had dinner at the restaurant on site and it was delicious and the service was great. My only complaint is that the hotel overall is hot. In our room which was a suite we turned off both thermostats because they were set at 80 when we checked in and the heat in the bedroom would not turn off. It was uncomfortable to sleep.

The lobby fireplace, the bar and the heated outdoor pool are all very nice. Need larger coffee cups for the free morning coffee

Enjoy the amenities and the friendliness of staff. Perfect spot to stay on a ski trip. Lobby area perfect for eating with friends with some takeout. Fire roaring, games for kids and the outdoor pool is killer after a long day. Love staying here.
