Totally bad experience. The staff is non cooperative. At least they should be compassionate towards customers. My travel plans changed and I requested a refund, unfortunately they are not kind enough to return my money, and I lost it completely.

I hadn't received the text message about the door code - and Trip.com had stated check in until 8pm, whereas the sign on the door stated 6pm.
Luckily, the door was answered - although it took time to confirm my booking - otherwise I may have been entirely stuck.
My bedside lamp wasn't working, although this was immediately replaced by the very helpful gentleman on duty. Comfortable bed, separate shared toilet and separate shared shower. Price was £46 for one night: would have been happier paying around £35 given the facilities on offer.

Booked the UnAdmiral Blake in October for 3 nights, called them back 2 hours after booking extremely apologetically telling them I made a mistake and asked if it was possible for a refund this was refused at the time and I was advised to stay the nights even though I no longer needed them. Called back two days later to see if they were prepared to give me a refund, refused, so I asked if I could then stay the 3 nights , this was then also jokingly refused. The time they give you for a cancellation is 14 days before, my cancellation time was 13 and a half days . As previously said read and ask the terms and conditions with the manager and owner running this establishment before booking. Total Shysters!!!

I had the misfortune to stay here & i never ever do so ever afain. There is no breakfast at the B & B. i went down & was told by the cleaner that they dont do breakfasts & you had to make " your own arrangements " regarding breakfast. The first room i was put into was disgusting. All the beds there had seen better days. The handle of my room came off in my hand. The entire b & b had just hone to wrack & ruin. Its a very Faceless place. I was moved to another room & that wasn't much better. The owner dosent look after the day to day running. A pair if managers " run it" ( very badly may i hasten to add!) If you can sray elsewhere then do so!!!! I have loads more complaints about my entire experience but i fear that i would take up all of TripAdvisor's space. More negative comments then anything. YUKKKK!!!!!

Well....where to begin ? Dated, shabby, unclean. Firstly, not in the best of areas, no personal greeting, all "remote check in". Owners must be embarrassed ! Avoid at all costs. Bed wasn't even made properly on arrival. Room smelt fusty and old. Windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned for months. Little to no parking.

From the moment I arrived there was issues finding my booking once that was sorted went to my room as I passed the Dirty kept kitchen and dining room noticed a shower room and a toilet not knowing this would be shared with another 12 rooms as I went in to the room it looked slightly outdated I thought bath in when I saw the tv and the hot drinks sachets only to later learn the kettle was filthy with limescale and the tv well guest house to lazy to install more than just one channel I’m sure you could get better service in a Prison I’m glad my few nights there was over very quickly would I go back there not if you paid me

Paid around £90 for 2 nights so we weren’t expecting much, but we walked in.. absolutely no staff anywhere, went up some stairs then down some stairs into what looked like faulty towers. Got to our room which was unlocked, had a bed and some drawers, went on *********** and booked somewhere else!! Absolutely shocking and dirty. Do not recommend
