Highly recommend this bijou hotel, was super friendly and even has a wig wardrobe???? Yeh olde worldy... we will be back thank you

The hotel is attractive and full of charm, with a pleasant aspect facing the church, however, the surrounding area of Bridgwater is rather run down.  Staff were very efficient and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the restaurant as it was closed due to it being Father's Day. Our room was ok, and had a large bathroom with both shower and separate bath. There was plenty of hot water available, but aware that it was almost scalding when allowed to run without cold added. The bed was comfortable and the room well equipped with tea facilities, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. Due to the age of the building, there was a lot of noise from residents walking around in the rooms above ours, but it wasn't too obtrusive. Breakfast was very good with a choice of full English or continental and my gluten allergy was catered for.  If you  need to stay in Bridgwater, then I would recommend The Old Vicarage, but we would probably look in the villages further out of the town in future.

The property was clean and tidy, but a little tired, and the central heating wasn't working in the room; however, there was a small electric radiator available, which made the room bearable after an hour or so. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when I arrived, which was well before booking in time.

Die Unterkunft war in Ordnung, die Stadt sollte man Abends nicht mehr besuchen. Das Personal war sehr nett. Für eine Nacht hat es gelangt für mehr war das Zimmer zu klein.

An interesting hotel housed in a group of medieval buildings. Lots of exposed beams and narrow stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very comfortable for the one night we spent there. The food is ok. Nothing to complain about at this price point. Very good value.

The room was lovely and quirky old fashioned with original features. Bathroom nice and clean staff were so polite and helpful. Only issue was tv was set with a reminder to change channel spoke to staff they thought it was rectified but happened for second night not an issue as stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

Helpful and attentive staff, good accommodation and great breakfast. Lovely stay!

Little Gem Lovely pub/restaurant. Room was lovely and spacious very comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant steaks were cooked to perfection. Breakfast was very good.
