布萊頓馬爾馬遜酒店(Malmaison Brighton)

wonderful experience. it was the second time booked this hotel with such a nice view and decent balcony i highly recommended to you to stay. may visit next time when i might stay in Brighton.

住了一晚，外面有一個很棒的碼頭，對面有很多餐館。不幸的是，我們沒有在最好的一天去，但該地區絕對彌補了這一點。不得不乘坐出租車前往碼頭，因為步行即可到達，但只需 7 英鎊左右，或者外面就有一個公交車站。總的來說，住得很愉快，房間很小但很舒服:)

Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely room with fantastic view of the marina.

We have stayed at this hotel twice before, once when it was Hotel Seattle and again just prior to covid when it had been rebranded Malmaison. We booked this hotel because of our previous experience - very good. However things have changed! The room was dirty - there was mould around the shower, the bench seat below the tv was stained and one of the buttons was missing its cloth, and one of the glasses provided for water had the imprint of lips on the rim. I have made a complaint but not had courtesy of a response - still waiting. The location of the hotel is very good. It is overlooking Brighton Marina and there is free parking on the adjacent multi-storey car park. You can drop off luggage and then park unfortunately when we stopped there were cars parked on loading bay that did not move and one of the hotel lifts was out of order. There are a variety of restaurants and fast food outlets at Brighton Marina including a Harvester and a Weatherspoons. ASDA is close by. Parking in Brighton is very expensive so parking at the Marina for free is a good option. It cost £10 each way for a taxi, there is a good bus service and you can walk to the Volks Railway.

Room was nice…view was lovely…the bathroom smelt so awful…the under rim of the toilet you could see was disgusting and so was the shower mat. Said they would refund 20%…but because I used £380 in vouchers and the rest paid, they refunded £13!!!!! On a nearly £500 room!!!!

On the surface everything appears to be wonderful however the walls in this hotel are paper thin. The noise from the couple in the next room literally echoed around my room, awful. Also had to listen to their late night antics. There is a saying, all that glitters is not gold. This applies so strongly to this hotel. Would NEVER return. Wouldn't recommend at all. Stay at the Hilton for the same money far better all round.

Decor not to my liking but I knew what to expect. Standard double room felt rather small due to imposing furniture unit. No space in wardrobe. Disappointed with reception staff on arrival, appeared rude and abrupt. Much better on departure though.
