施莫特而汽車旅館(Motel Schmotel)

Absolutely horrendous stay. All night people up and down the stairs, banging doors, shouting. Clearly the place has people staying long term and I seriously suspect it's being used for things other than sleeping! Eastern European girls wandering about in full make up and dressing gowns at 2pm, corridors smelling of ****, at 4 am someone wailing on the balcony above me. Rushing water noises through the pipework all night then at 3.30am water actually started pouring through my celing. As a solo woman traveller I felt unsafe and didn't sleep a wink, and left as soon as I could in the morning. The room looked nothing like the pictures, curtains stained. The whole place is grim.

Stayed there this month ( march 24th to 26th) very nice hotel. Car park 1 minute walk away witch was more than convenient with the bags of course. After arriving at the property we got room number three on level one which had a cosy inbuilt shower cupboard which was really nice and tiled and very clean. Also had double doors out onto a small metal balcony which was nice also. What I liked about this property is that it's all keyless entry from the main door to your room though which again is convenient. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet the manager, but he kept in touch very well through *********** which was good of him. I would really recommend this hotel for long or short stay. 5 start from me thank you for us.

If you’re a smoker then perhaps this would be ok for you. It smelt so strongly of smoke that I didn’t want to be there at all. Mould in the bathroom too. Sheets were clean, toilet and shower were also clean, but the mould made me just want to get out of there. Booked two nights, only stayed for one.

The room was very pleasant. Clean, tidy and quite spacious. There was a squeaky door downstairs, which someone kept opening and shutting throughout the night making it quite impossible to sleep. There did seem to be a lot of noisy activity in the hotel? I would go back though.

Heating was maxed out making the room stuffy, shower was too small to use comfortably

The property is close to town which is great and the staff responded quickly to any questions or needs. However, the place wasn’t properly cleaned and I have several bite marks around my body from bed bugs for this reason I wouldn’t recommend this place

Hotel is basic. No reception or so. Basic cleaning on the day. Room was old and a bit dated. However, clean. Toilet didn't flush properly. It did the job to sleep there, but, not more than that. so, if you are okay with a very basic, dated but clean room, it will do.

It's quiet, but you're prone to end up with a room full of flies if you leave the window open too long. Nice location, though.

A step back in time, but cozy enough and really well placed in Brighton.
