Palacio Tondon, la Rioja Brinas

Un lugar maravilloso para desconectar, celebrar etc. etc. elegimos este hotel para celebrar nuestro primer aniversario de bodas y fue una maravilla, la comida exquisita la atención del personal fue muy amable, la rioja es perfecto para hacer catas de vinos pero si no te apetece salir, en el mismo hotel puedes hacer una buena cata de vinos, y disfrutar de una auténtica variedad de vinos.

Reducida carta pero todo lo que hay en ella es delicioso y muy bien presentado. Es una comedorpequeño y decoracion cuidada muy agradable con siilas/sillones muy confortables y con vistas al rio Ebro Los postres estan muy bien realizados.Volveremos sin duda en otra ocasion

We booked for two nights and the website clearly showed the type of room to expect but if you keep swiping you see the terrible 3rd floor rooms that have no windows just a skylight with no view I would never have stayed at this hotel had we known we were in an attic we tried to move but we’re told there was no other choice the room itself was awful with the roof line reducing the actual usable room size by 50 per cent .The hotel itself looks tired and under staffed .We realised the restaurant was going to be a disaster and cancelled our booking to eat in it .The fitness room was just a room with nothing in it just an empty room.I would not recommend staying unless you know the actual room you are going to be in as the rooms in the attic will ruin your stay.

Muy bonito hotel muy limpio, con vistas espectaculares al rio ebro, el personal con buena atencion especialmente un chavo que atendia como mesero en restaurante, todo cierra a las 10:30 ! Pero vale mucho la pena! La cena estaba deliciosa especialmente unas alcachofas con langostinos! De 100

I would not recommend Palacio. The building is beautiful but that’s really where it stops. We were only told 1 day before we arrived that the hotel had been bought by the Marriot. All the charm that we had originally booked for was definitely no longer there. If you book, be sure not to get a room on the 3rd floor. You won’t get a window, just a sky light with no view, and if you’re tall, you’ll hit your head on the attic eaves. In the rooms, the showers do not have a wall or door, so beware that you’re just showering in the middle of the room. They also give you just 2 flat pillows on the bed. For a 4 star hotel with hundreds of good reviews that was shocking. We had to request additional pillows which were brought to us, but that’s just one example of seriously lacking comforts for a room that costs so much. The waiters were all really nice, but it’s so clear they are severely understaffed and you feel bad asking for things The location is fine, but be aware you’ll have to drive everywhere. The only place to eat is the hotel, and the food is pretty uninspiring.

La decisión de celebrar nuestra boda íntima en el Palacio no pudo ser más acertada. Un sitio precioso, con gusto y tranquilo, una comida de 10 y una sobremesa agradable en la terraza. El personal nos atendió de forma exquisita y con mucho detalle.

Super cute boutique hôtel. Free breakfast is perfect. Rooms are cute and rustic. Parking easy on the street. Not a lot of dining options around the hotel. We stayed 1 night and enjoy the wineries around. The gym is under construction hopefully will be done shortly

Je suis très déçu par l'hôtel Palacio Tondon. L'hôtel censé être calme au bord d'une rivière était en fait extrêmement bruyant. Dans ma chambre située sous les toits, les bruits d'une fête de village étaient à peine filtrés (en plus des bruits de craquements de la charpente). Je n'ai pas pu dormir avant l'arrêt de la musique entre 4 et 5 heures du matin alors que je n'ai normalement aucun problème pour m'endormir. La réception de l'hôtel n'a rien fait. Il me semble que la moindre des choses aurait été de proposer le remboursement de la nuit ou une nuit gratuite ultérieure. La fonction de base d'un hôtel étant la possibilité de dormir il me semble anormal de considérer normal de payer plus de 200€ pour ne pouvoir dormir qu'après 4 heure du matin. Par ailleurs, bien que visiblement récente, la décoration de la chambre de mauvaise qualité est déjà dégradée (faux bois éclaté probablement suite à la présence d'eau à proximité de la douche). Pas de parking sécurisé. Il faut se garer dans la rue où de fêtards traînent) Le petit-déjeuner est bon.

We had a lovely stay at Palacio Tondon. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The location right next to the Ebro River is very cool. They offer a nice breakfast every morning. The service is outstanding across the board…very friendly, helpful people.
