Front desk personnel were unfriendly. NO greeting when we first entered hotel….I had to interrupt front desk employee from their long conversation with another employee to ask if we could check-in and if our room was ready. (early check-in, please and thank-you!) They were going to check to see if they could get us into a different room and promised to call us with status. They never did. After an hour we had to call the front desk to check on the status of early check-in only to be told “we checked you in an hour ago”...but they didn't bother to contact us and let us know! One of the front desk employees got testy with me when I asked WHY she didn't call us back about changing rooms. She said she gave my husband the needed information but my husband said that never happened! Upon entering the room we noticed it WAS NOT a suite! There was no separate bedroom with a door to close off the rest of the room. There was NO “kitchen area.” No sink….only a mini fridge and microwave like all the other NON-SUITE rooms! The room was extremely dark. There was no way to turn on a light over the microwave or coffee maker to see what we were doing. I went down to the front desk to ask about lighting and if they could please give us a small lamp to put over the microwave and were told NO; this is what all the HIE rooms have and they could not add anything else to any rooms. I went to check in and they told us the pool was not open.. since we had a child with us that was so looking forward to the pool… we were extremely disappointed ! They told us to go to the BW in Dartmouth. We did and it was a terrible experience!! They put us in rooms on different floors. I had a handicap room. Door wouldn’t close properly, had to get them to fix the TV and it smelled musty. Also was very loud. Breakfast was only until 9am.. very early! Just a terrible experience! Not happy at all. This was supposed to be a last minute getaway for our Granddaughter.

We were greeted by friendly staff, the room was a great size and very clean. Jay one of the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was super convenient just wish it ran till 11am. It was hard making it by 9:30. But my overall stay was very pleasant and I would definitely stay there again. Great location as well.

Room was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very impressive for a hotel breakfast. Many options to choose from and well stocked.

The stay was all right. I happen to stay here on a Monday then again on a Thursday. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The tv is very small and i had to turn it on from the back. The remote was missing cover and tv didn't have much channels. Also, the tv was glitching in and out. The complimentary breakfast is nice to have however, it was horrible. The food was not hot, pancake maker wasn't working. The taste and quality of the eggs,sausage,etc. was very poor.

We hadn't stayed at this location since staying during renovations a few years ago. The employees were all great, welcoming and polite. The only thing that surprised me was how stained the bathtub was, considering the renovations were only a few years ago (I believe we staying June 2019) there were several stains in the tub.

Very clean room. Staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast offered.
