Our stay was brief, but very pleasant. We had a late check-in which was easy and hassle-free. Our room was charming and quite comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with the other guests. Check-out was seamless. Our host Charlotte was wonderful!

Very charming historical home with lots of lovely architectural detail. New owners are very gracious. Wonderful homemade breakfast. Needs some attention to housekeeping and ****ing. New owners are only 1 week in, sounds like great plans are in the works!

Charming and quiet with a touch of history but modern bathroom amenities. Very comfortable bed and the hostess, Bobbi, could not be nicer or more accommodating. And if you leave breakfast hungry, that’s your fault. Short drive to wonderful sights, hiking, and cute New England towns including Ashland and Plymouth.

We have stayed at the Cheney House for several years and have always enjoyed our visits. The hosts Bobbi and Anthony are very friendly and down-to-earth. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Great air conditioning and nice personal touches. The breakfasts are delicious!

Cheney House is a charming house and Anthony and Bobbie are wonderful hosts. My room was so charming and thankfully cooled by an air conditioner. Everything was attended to with beautiful touches through the home. Their friendly dog Eddie made me miss my dogs less. Breakfasts were fantastic!

Very accommodating and friendly hosts. The hosts clearly were well prepared for us, anticipated everything we needed, and made sure the visit went smoothly. Our breakfast was generous and delicious, different each day. The French toast (day 2) was their own recipe and the best we ever had! Definitely would go back!

Lovely stay at the Cheney house. Bobbi & Anthony were lovely hosts - they reached out in advance to ask about any food allergies or preferences and I appreciated having a vegetarian option at breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

Older B&B, needs a bit of maintenance and spiffing up. The Best part is the hostess Bobbi and her husband Anthony. Very very personable and entertaining! Bobbi is a great conversationalist at breakfast, very funny gal! Breakfast is mediocre. Good location.
