Wir hatten einen wirklichen Traum-Aufenthalt. Für uns das schönste Alpine Mountain Hotel in Europa. Man kommt an und ist sofort entspannt. Was für ein tolles Hideaway! Der Blick auf die Dolomiten ist atemberaubend. Tolle Zimmer, in denen man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Das Restaurant mit den Séparée‘s ist klasse. Perfekt für uns Schweizer Gäste, wir sind immer mehr für uns ;o) Frühstück ist schon fast ein Gourmet-Brunch. Besser kann man es nicht machen. Das Essen allgemein ist wirklich sehr fein. Kompliment an die Küche. Der Spa und Pool sowie die Aussenliegen alles erste Klasse. Forestis Dolomites was bliss in every respect! We stayed two nights in a tower1 suite on the 12th floor.It was an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely majestic! Eco-friendly, the hotel design was subtle but impressive, dinner was exquisite, breakfast was excellent, and the staff was proffesional and friendly. The wellness and spa area was perfect. We enjoyed local hikes, bike rides and star gazing. We can't wait to be back!

Thank you for the most magical, beautiful place we have ever stayed in our lives. During the last several decades, we have had the great fortune to stay at many of the most spectacular places on earth, including the Four Seasons Bora Bora and many of the top resorts in the Maldives. But we honestly think that Forestis is the most stunning, wonderful place we have ever been. The entire staff is amazing, but we want to give a special thanks to Sandra, a young woman from Bolivia whom we met in the restaurant. It might have said that we speak English on our forms (which we do), but, as Spanish speakers, we loved having such a kind, lovely, positive, and fantastic person greeting us every day. We wish we could spend a month at Forestis. Grazie mille, danke schoen, gracias, and thank you!

Everything is perfect and exquisite, from the beautiful hotel architecture and facilities, to the high standard staff perfection. Not to mention the breathtaking natural surroundings with mountains and pure air. The respect of the guests privacy and tranquility is a top priority of this resort and it is highly appreciated. As an example, the lovely dinner restaurant where every table is surrounded by high partitions to make the dining experience private and tranquil. Congratulations and thank you to Günther, the hotel manager, for his attention to every detail.

I have never written a TripAdvisor review before but felt compelled to after our trip, especially as I used reviews of hotels extensively to choose this place. In short: we had an amazing time. I'm not sure any holiday experience I will ever have will top this! Even in low season (perhaps especially because it was low season!) we had an incredible time. The most relaxed and cared for I've felt in years. I have recommended this hotel to everyone and will most definitely be coming back. Luxurious nature retreat. Definitely worth the price. Pros: Everything. The Spa. The staff. The food. The location. The custom and friendly service. The quiet having chosen the off season. Cons: None really. If I were really to pick at straws here - the spa shop was quite expensive for the products. But I am really being picky here!!! Time of year & weather: We chose low season because of our scheduling. I was concerned (especially as we arrived in the rain!) that the beautiful view would be obscured. However, the weather changes rapidly in the mountains and the next morning we were awoken to the first snowfall, which was absolutely magical resting on the pine trees that frame the mountains. The following day we had sun! You may sometimes be taking a bit of a gamble but the low season means less people and the weather was perfect for us. Location: Remote, which is wonderful. We took a 2-hour transfer from Innsbruck and arrived here with a wonderful view (we were told the best) of the iconic Geisler peaks. Peaceful and tranquil. There are some small walking trails from the hotel, but on a sunny day when we were seeking a longer hike, the hotel concierge very generously offered to take us up (free of charge) to Bergkappele Kreuztal (8 min drive) and we had a breaktaking 2 hour hike with uninterrupted views. They then picked us up and drove us back to the hotel. This was a very nice and generous touch as we arrived without our own car. Facilities & amenities: - Incredibly stylish (if you like modern, which we do). Unlike the classic mountain style which is heavy on old-fashioned wood designs which for us and can sometimes feel a bit claustrophobic, this was very sleek, which incorporated local wood in its design but also had floor to ceiling windows EVERYWHERE (our room! the restaurant! amazing) so as to maximise the views. It was minimalist to show off the main attraction - the outside. We absolutely loved it. - Room: We were upgraded through FHR (Amex) from a Suite to a Tower Suite and it was amazing. Wraparound views and lots of little touches, like a complimentary (non-alcoholic) minibar with drinks and snacks and a spa bag to take down to the spa. The products in the room and the spa are amazing - in-house made shower gels, shampoos and lotions made with local ingredients (larch sap; stone pine sap; etc). These smelled amazing.
