Every member of staff were so friendly stunning location and very nice food

Went for dinner at Rhinefield. Excellent food locally sourced and well produced. Chef came to explain menu and answer questions. Good wine list and prices reasonable. Staff very attentive and appeared to went to ensure the event went well. Definitely recommended.

Hôtel has a rigid non-customer oriented cancellation policy. Our trip was cancelled and the hotel charged us £650 without any qualms. My advice is to avoid this place ..The people are rude and not all interested in helping. Avoid this place!!

I paid £373 for a Superior room. It was over-priced. At that price I expected something special. It was not. While the decor was in good condition it’s appearance was dated. To get to the room you had to ascend steps under a low beam, hardly the impression you’d expect. We waited a long time for our drinks to be served in the bar, which was not busy. We waited 40 minutes to be served our starters in the conservatory restaurant. My salt and pepper squid was tasteless. We waisted almost as long for the main course. Only one waitress had to serve all the diners.

We had an amazing stay at Rhinefield House. Excellent staff who were highly professional and extremely welcoming from the Reception staff, bar staff and restaurant staff, nothing was too much. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal which was outstanding. George the restaurant manager was oustanding. The breakfast was equally as good and Jerry the manager was extremly good too. We had a young baby with us and staff helped warm bottles and find a suitable table to accomodate a pushchair. The whole hotel was stunning and extremlely clean. Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, water and fresh milk in fridge in our room which was refilled in the evening. This is one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. We would highly recommend this hotel for families and couples and can't wait to return.

Underwhelmed due to poor service for Sunday lunch.Main course served & long delay with veg ! Outside terrace slow for drinks/coffee ! Fish pond extensive & requires cleaning out stagnant dirty water ! Broken wine glasses on lawn at disabled parking near front door despite doorma. Scrutinising everyone parking there from his stance at the front door!

We celebrated my mothers' 90th birthday with afternoon tea for family and friends in the Alhambra room. Annette from events was incredibly helpful in organising the event, very efficient in her communications and very welcoming and hospitable when I popped in to look around. The afternoon tea was delicious but most importantly, the team who oversaw the tea were so very professional, friendly, attentive without being intrusive and made sure the occasion went really well. Special mention goes to StJohn for managing everything so that we had an excellent, relaxed afternoon tea - an excellent experience and just right for the occasion. I would recommend highly the venue, staff, and the afternoon tea.

The Rhinefield House Hotel is a hidden gem in the New Forest. We first came here over a year ago as we wanted to get married in the New Forest. We fell in love with it straight away. Everything about this place is stunning, the food is always fresh & delicious, the staff are so attentive and professional & the grounds are stunning! We didn't really need much time to think about it booking this place for our wedding as it was immediate we both felt so at ease here. Our wedding coordinator Annette was a superstar! She made the whole process so easy & she was just lovely to work with! We have been here several times since the initial visit & we got married here in April this year (thank you RHH for making our day perfect!). I cannot say anything negative about this place as it truly is special. We look forward to coming back again soon, would definitely recommend this stunning hotel 5/5.

We got married at Rhinefield on 16th May after booking the venue the previous August. Annette looked after us through the whole process, regularly checking in with us and answering my many questions! Nothing was too much trouble! Even the week leading up to the wedding we received some bad news which meant we may have needed to cancel. Annette was so caring and compassionate and looked after us like family, helping us with last minute changes. We decided to go for a less traditional style wedding breakfast which she was happy to accommodate. We had dreamed of an outdoor ceremony and despite terrible weather on the morning of the wedding all the staff made this possible. They helped my husband with a quick turn around from indoors to outdoors at the last minute to allow us to get married in the stunning grounds. The day before the wedding Annette did a warm handover to Tom who looked after us on the day, who was equally as lovely! Their kindness and professionalism throughout was outstanding. During the day Yasmin was also brilliant with helping everything to run smoothly and setting up on the morning, again being flexible despite the weather! As well as the 3 mentioned, I cannot thank all involved enough. All the way through to breakfast and check out the following morning we were treated like royalty! Our breakfast with the guests that stayed was a lovely way to end our stay and we were again looked after brilliantly by Deborah. All staff are an absolute credit to Rhinefield and the house and grounds speak for themselves. Can’t wait to return again for our anniversary stay! Chloe & Calum
